I have had my hair cut by different barbers here and trust me, all of these guys are top notch. They cut your hair like what you would expect from a Chicago barber shop (very clean lines and any crazy style you want). I also get my 2yr old sons hair cut here. They are great with kids and always exceed my expectations. I always come here when I'm in town because I don't have to call in and I know my cut will always look great. Also, the guys here are a blast to talk to and just watch them work on other people while you get your cut.

I've gone to so many other barbers and hair stylists in my lifetime, and I've never received the quality service I get at South West Cuts. Over the years I've gotten to know Eddie and he always remembers how I like my hair cut. Regarding pricing, I find it worth the price one pays for the haircut and other services available. South West Cuts is a clean shop and one honestly cannot go wrong with any barber that works there! If you are looking for a haircut, facial hair trim, or other services regarding male hair care in the Oak Lawn/Southwest Suburbs area, I highly recommend you check out South West Cuts!

That is not the case here. Eddie leaves you with THE perfect cut, and ONLY the perfect cut. Every. Single. Time. Whether you want something simple, or something a bit more exotic, like I did, Eddie will work with you to your liking. My two brothers and I have bounced from barber to barber across the Southside, and now we've finally found a barber we love. It's only been a day since I've gotten my most recent haircut from him, and I can't tell you the amount of compliments I've gotten from both women and men alike. When you walk in, everyone there makes you feel at home with great hospitality, not to mention the hilarious and wholesome conversation, too! I know it might be corny or cliché to say, but it's not just a haircut when you go there, it's an experience. I did leave there with one regret, however...that I didn't have more cash in my wallet to tip him. Definitely recommending Eddie to all of my male friends. Good job, dude.

He did not speak English so I was not able to communicate to him what I wanted specifically so I had to have someone translate for me, but even after being translated he still was unable to follow instructions. He eneded up taking too much hair off the back even though i had told him not to & he also pushed my hairline too far back when I had specifically told him to be teal carfull with my hairline. When I confronted him and pointed out his mistake he gave me a poor excuse as to why he was unable to do what I had told him to do. Even after I confronted his mistake he kept trying to fix his mistake but only made things worse, my best advice to anyone is only go to south side barber shops in Chicago they are the best and professional they might be more expensive but they will get you right. I would have just gone with my usual barber but unfortunately he was straight up booked for the entire week & I needed a haircut really bad so I had no choice but to try a new barber shop temporarily last minute.
