Went to Phils for years, there were several women that gave excellent haircuts. One issue that I…read morehad was the constant talk about Trump and the Republican party. I pretty much was able to ignore it. Phil has a tendency to focusing more on talking politics than on cutting clients hair, it got to the point where a client asked if he was on break because Phil was talking so much. He had about seven women working for him, now he's down to I believe three. Tendency years ago there were a couple people waiting with several women working but now very few people are going there and now you need an appointment. This last Saturday they were open and no customers. I wonder how they feel about Trump now.

I sat down and we discussed for a minute or so and he got to work and gave a great cut. The shop was busy and inviting. I got the cut and a beard trim with hot towel and face massage for $45. Great quality and great value. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.

So I've been going to another barber for roughly the past three years. Don't get me wrong, this…read moreother barber was very good. I really had no reason to venture out to look for a new barber besides he was always very busy and it was nearly impossible to get in. With that said. Today I needed a haircut and started the horrible adventure trying to find a new barber (you know it's hard trying to find a good one). I saw barber one on Yelp and it wasn't very far from my house. So I gave it a shot. To my astonishment I think I found the best barber EVER!!! I'm not really sure how to describe the service with words. it was the best haircut I've ever received. The look of concentration and dedication he holds on his face is slightly cocky, for good reason. He talked me into a hair style I have never considered or have would have ever considered before. I suppose I should have been nervous about the whole thing, but I wasn't because he was sure of the idea. The hair cut and shave was amazing. He has won himself another client for life. Thanks you sir P.S. My daughter said I looked awesome and my wife saw it and said it looks like two unicorns have long sex in a waterfall. So I guess that's a good thing.

Before the appointment a tornado warning rang and my barber got me into the chair and starting with no worry, I had so much hair I felt bad but it didn't matter for him. About 20 minutes in the outside is dark and green and the wind blew the fire alarm on. This might sound bad but when I say that this is the best haircut I ever got even under these conditions, I mean it. Even with the fire alarm blasting and the wind and hail pounding the place, my barber got it done in perfect time and style. He also was a very nice guy everyone there was super nice. You should definitely go for a haircut because I know if you go on a nice day the haircut will be very good because even on a bad day the hair cut was amazing

We came in looking for a barbershop to use for all six of our boys, and because of the unfriendly vibe, customer service, and basic lack of professionalism, we left and found one of the BEST barbershops in the city!! Right down the street. Such a shame, because we heard great feedback from clients who went there - Because of their impatience and poor attitude, it cost them six brand new clients. Excellent customer service skills should be the # 1 priority of any small business, especially when there is so much competition out there in 2026. Let this be a life lesson to this business, with any hope. #unsatisfied #impatient #rude
