I just moved to Orland Park, and so I was on the hunt for a new barber. I just went to Phils…read moretoday, and it was great! I have been a long time victim of the chain chop shops and feel sorry for those who had too see the back of my head afterwards... Admittedly, there's a strong willed cowlick back there, but hey, isn't that their job to handle that kind of thing? Also, went to some salons (only scary the first time) and the quality is high, but so is the price and the time it takes. Phils has: 1. No appointments, just a sign up sheet, so the stylists move fast. 2. Phil and his cool lady stylists are all friendly and engaged in what they're doing (Can't stand the bored attitudes and gloomy spirits of most of the chain ladies) 3. Busy, and long lasting business, means good quality. 4.Good skilled stylists. Maria was great, shes super friendly and gave an awesome haircut in the time it takes Great Clips and with the quality of a salon. She even shaved the neck with a straight razor and trimmed my beard without missing a beat. She's genuinely engaged, not just talking to fill space. Whole experience was well worth it, and glad that I've found my new barber shop!

Went to Phils for years, there were several women that gave excellent haircuts. One issue that I…read morehad was the constant talk about Trump and the Republican party. I pretty much was able to ignore it. Phil has a tendency to focusing more on talking politics than on cutting clients hair, it got to the point where a client asked if he was on break because Phil was talking so much. He had about seven women working for him, now he's down to I believe three. Tendency years ago there were a couple people waiting with several women working but now very few people are going there and now you need an appointment. This last Saturday they were open and no customers. I wonder how they feel about Trump now.

Very, very nice atmosphere; always on time, clean, comfortable and friendly. I've visited this…read moreshop a few times and have never been disappointed with the barbers or the service received. Tino is especially funny on Sunday mornings doing his Live social media broadcasts while cutting and always getting his clients involved. I can't say enough about Tino's warm-heartedness and the feeling of friendship in the shop as a whole. Coffee and bottled water are nice little perks as well and if you come at the right time, Tino may even offer you some of his breakfast! The parking lot is sufficient although a few times, there was construction going on in the road but of course, that's nothing they can control. Even the people doing laundry next door are nice. lol. Overall, this is a top-notch barbershop and the staff is amazing. I wish I could give it 10 stars for having a very clean and inviting girl-friendly bathroom, totally uncommon in barbershops!

I sat down and we discussed for a minute or so and he got to work and gave a great cut. The shop was busy and inviting. I got the cut and a beard trim with hot towel and face massage for $45. Great quality and great value. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Before the appointment a tornado warning rang and my barber got me into the chair and starting with no worry, I had so much hair I felt bad but it didn't matter for him. About 20 minutes in the outside is dark and green and the wind blew the fire alarm on. This might sound bad but when I say that this is the best haircut I ever got even under these conditions, I mean it. Even with the fire alarm blasting and the wind and hail pounding the place, my barber got it done in perfect time and style. He also was a very nice guy everyone there was super nice. You should definitely go for a haircut because I know if you go on a nice day the haircut will be very good because even on a bad day the hair cut was amazing

We came in looking for a barbershop to use for all six of our boys, and because of the unfriendly vibe, customer service, and basic lack of professionalism, we left and found one of the BEST barbershops in the city!! Right down the street. Such a shame, because we heard great feedback from clients who went there - Because of their impatience and poor attitude, it cost them six brand new clients. Excellent customer service skills should be the # 1 priority of any small business, especially when there is so much competition out there in 2026. Let this be a life lesson to this business, with any hope. #unsatisfied #impatient #rude
