I can't get myself to give Same Day Plumbing more than 2 stars... We had an issue with our plumbing. My wife was shutting off the water on the outside hose when the nozzle just came right off and water starting spraying. Thankfully, we found the shutoff. What happened is the plastic connector broke in half with half of the plastic connector still stuck in the pipe. Our friendly neighbors offered to help us fix it. We spent a couple of days trying to saw the damn thing off. There was grunting, growling, and very strong general dislike of plumbing and the Eastern european contractors who built our house. My neighbor said he'd find out what can be done. He thought perhaps paint thinner might do the trick. Of course, I immediately called my wife and instructed her to buy paint thinner. Three days later, some sawed off piece of beat up plastic was still stuck in the pipe. Fearing for my plants, I figured it was time to call the plumber. I called them Friday morning and they had a cancellation so they could be there by 10:30 AM. I showed them out back and they immediately saw the problem. One acted perplexed while the other one started rummaging through his quote book. Apparently he's not allowed to quote me a price without referring to this book. He tells me it'll cost $202. I ask him if he can do the job then and there and he hesitates but eventually responds in the affirmative. I sign on the dotted line and go inside to check my email. The guy's associate goes out to the car to get some tools. Long story short, about 4 minutes later they've completely removed the plastic and replaced the part with metal, which is much more durable. They ask me for the money and go off on their merry way... "FUCK! $200 for a 5-minute job?!?! These fuckers are making $4000/hour!!! ARGHH!!!" Anyway, what could I do, right? It reminds me of a joke I heard a while back: A mainframe computer on which everyone in the office depended suddenly went down. They tried everything but it still wouldn't work. Finally they decided to call in a high-powered computer consultant. He arrived, looked at the computer, took out a small hammer and tapped it on the side. Instantly the computer leapt back to life. Two days later the office manager received a bill from the consultant for $1,000. Immediately he called the consultant and exclaimed, "One thousand dollars for fixing that computer?! You were only here five minutes! I want the bill itemized!" The next day the new bill arrived. It read, Tapping computer with hammer: $1 Knowing where to tap: $999

We have them for tune up the AC unit they change the capacitor for compressor and put a booster ,cost 1545.00$ more then changing hole unit we complained after few days emails and phones calls we get little bit more the 800.00$ i will never get the service from them its shocking what they did thief taking advantage of people in pandemic time ,beware ask before if you call them i am in Vacaville, shame for them i nope the carma pays one day. I was floored with the service this company provides. Our neighbors (condos) unit had backed up up drains and they called them to see if they could remedy the problem. Needless to say they were unfamiliar with the lines that existed in the building. They went into our garage and snaked the line into our unit instead and ended up breaking our toilet in the process. Our tenant came home to a broken toilet and it wasn't until we spoke to the HOA that we found out Same Day Service had come out and snaked the wrong line. When I called them the receptionist she was polite and told me she would have the technician call me. The technician was beyond rude and belligerent. He told me that he would have to determine if he did the damage or not. I told him that the HOA was aware of the work he attempted to complete and agreed that they snaked the wrong line. Apparently the neighbor contacted the HOA out of frustration that the line was still blocked and the HOA sent out Elite Plumbing Services (who are amazing and solved the issue of the backed up lines). Eventually Same Day Service determined they did cause the damage and are replacing the toilet this morning. I'm just floored at the amount of pressure they used which caused the toilet to break- grateful that no one was hurt.

Lazy staff smoking and sitting on our fence!! Do not hire them!!!

Top notch in all aspects. - Respect for time/home…read more- Communication - Workmanship - Easy to do business with Came for a leaking sediment filter and ended up fixing all the little things around the house while here: + 2 faucets, 2 sink drains. I would recommend if you want things done correctly and completely.

1/5 Stars: PROPERTY OWNERS AND LANDLORDS, BEWARE. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY…read more As a property owner, I strongly recommend that other landlords and property investors avoid Advanced Plumbing Heating and Air. My experience with this company demonstrated a concerning lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. Before engaging their services, I explicitly established that all findings, concerns, and recommendations regarding my rental property were to be communicated directly to me as the property owner. Apparently, following simple instructions was too much to ask. During a service visit on October 1, their technician disregarded this arrangement and communicated serious concerns regarding my property's heating system directly to my tenant instead of contacting me as instructed. This created unnecessary stress and confusion that I was subsequently left to manage. To be clear, I absolutely expect HVAC professionals to identify legitimate safety concerns. However, there is a professional and responsible way to communicate those concerns, particularly when working with rental properties. Keeping the property owner informed should be a fundamental part of that process. Because of this experience, I made the decision to terminate my business relationship with the company. Their response to losing a customer was arguably the most revealing part of the entire experience. Rather than receiving a thoughtful, personalized response acknowledging my concerns, I received what appeared to be a generic, AI-generated message. They couldn't even spell my name correctly. Think about that for a moment. A property owner terminates a business relationship because of concerns about professionalism and communication, and the company's response is an impersonal, seemingly automated message that doesn't even get the customer's name right. You genuinely couldn't ask for a better demonstration of the very problem that caused me to terminate their services in the first place. It left me with the impression that my concerns were not taken seriously and that retaining my business was of little importance to them. As someone who owns rental property, I depend on contractors who can communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, and respect established expectations. I should not have to micromanage basic communication or wonder whether a company is even paying attention to the customer paying for its services. My recommendation to fellow property owners is simple: Take your business elsewhere. Find a company that respects your instructions, communicates directly and professionally, and treats your property and your business relationship with the attention they deserve. There are plenty of HVAC contractors who understand that professionalism involves more than showing up with a toolbox. Advanced Plumbing Heating and Air has permanently lost my business. Between the disregard for established communication expectations and the embarrassingly impersonal response to my termination notice, I have absolutely no confidence in their customer service. If they cannot even take the time to spell a customer's name correctly in a response to a formal complaint, I have little reason to believe they will give my property the attention it deserves. One star. I would not recommend this company to any property owner.

This is a little overdue, but well worth the delay. I…read more had another vendor come out and inspect my system to find that I had a cracked heat exchanger, which was dangerous for the home. They did their job and then quoted me a price that I thought was a bit high. I went through my warranty company to see if they would fix that, only to find out they sent out a vendor that couldn't find the cracks. I called Cozy home for a third opinion and they were there soon and not only demonstrated that I needed a new unit for safety reasons but offered me a complete system for $10,500 less than the first vendor. Not only did they make the safety of my family their priority, but installed it quickly safely and as I said before for $10,500 less than the first vendor. Mark was great with the initial inspection and I'm glad he was able to make the recommendation. . I'm happy with the system. The install team was awesome as well. Got the whole thing done in a day. I'm happy I found This Company and feel a lot more "cozy" in my home now and for the foreseeable future. Thanks guys.!

They took my money, failed final inspection, and have not come back to fix it…read more I see the owner, Jason, replied to another person with a similar problem that they "do not have any Install's that are left incomplete." This is not true, at least in my case, and I'm happy to give him the permit number if he gives ME a call--I'm tired of calling and emailing and getting not reply. I hired Cozy Home Services in January 2026 to swap my ducted gas furnace for a heat pump at my home in Oakland. The main installation went smoothly, but what followed has been deeply frustrating. When it was time for final inspection, they told me to schedule it myself, even though their contract says they do the permits. The first inspection failed with nine correction items. It took weeks of follow-up and the intervention of a third party for me to get Cozy Home to send someone out to make the fixes. When the technician arrived, it was clear they had not reviewed the correction notice or checked with the city. He asked me what needed to be fixed, then called his manager for guidance, and ultimately said he would do what he could and 'we'll see how it goes.' They even installed the wrong fix--an unnecessary second breaker box on the outside of the house. That second inspection (which I also had to schedule) failed with six items still outstanding. These are not complicated fixes, either--things like swapping in a GFCI breaker, putting in a proper p-trap on the condensation drain, and other items that are listed right in the blower installation manual. That second failure was six months ago. They have not come back and the permit is still not finaled. During the installation, they also cut up my existing filter box rather than replacing it with a properly sized unit as they promise under their own "right size guarantee." They removed the side of the box and replaced it with a loose sheet of metal, ruining the latching, gasketed door to the filter slot. Now I have to untape the door to change the filter, then tape it shut again. This is not a permanent or professional solution. I have made repeated attempts to get them to work with the city. Their responses are sporadic and commitments are not kept. The equipment itself seems fine. The problem is entirely with follow-through, workmanship on the details, and responsiveness after the sale.
