I arrived to pick them up at 11:35am while on my way to work, and I ended up having to wait 5 minutes while he finished one of my pants in front of me. It wasn't a big deal, but if I I had come at 11am when he said they would be done then I would have waited 40 minutes or I would have had to come back to get my pants on another day. I would recommend this tailor, but I would suggest giving them more time to finish your items, even if they sound confident that they will have it done in a couple of days.

I have to say that I've waited almost 6 months to write this review because I was just too angry to write it before - it wouldn't have been fair and I wouldn't have given the good and the bad. But here it is now... I needed some quick-ish work done on my dress. It had to be taken in 2 sizes (woohoo, weight loss!!). I had 3 weeks until I needed it back. The woman there said no problem, and "not expensive to do!". In retrospect I should have asked for an estimate but when someone says "not expensive" I anticipate it won't be expensive. So I went in, tried it on for her and she proceeded to pin it for me. The whole time we were doing that we kept getting interrupted by other customers coming to get their orders. I know she's running a business but when I'm standing in the middle of a tiny store, where everyone can see me, with half my dress pinned and I'm holding the other half up, I don't want to wait 10 minutes for you to serve someone who came after me. Take the two minutes, pin my dress, and THEN serve them. After that she gave me a slip, said 2 weeks and I went off. Two weeks later I came back to try on my dress. Well, it was too tight. Not too tight that I couldn't fit but tighter than I wanted. No matter, it wasn't a huge deal. She then proceeded to tell me how it was "much more work" than she anticipated and she had to "take it all apart" to take it in. And it would be "a bit more". By this point I was just ready to be done so I told her that was fine and asked what I owed. Brace yourself... $140. That is neither "not expensive" or "a bit more" than not expensive. That's almost what I paid for the dress itself!! I couldn't do anything except tell her I was disappointed and pay. She had my dress, she had done the work and now I owed her the money. I took my dress and left. On the day of the wedding it did look beautiful but had I known what a headache it was going to be and how expensive she was going to be I would have taken it somewhere else. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Ever.

They specifically did everything I asked and put a wax on it to protect the paint. The Jeep Compass that I own looks better than when I drove it off the lot last October from the dealership. The carpets and rugs looked brand new and smelled great. Add that to the great service and reasonable price, I'll definitely be using them again.

Sana is the lovely proprietress, and she greets everyone with a smile and can-do attitude. I have had multiple pairs of jeans hemmed here, and zippers replaced on items from skirts to my favourite wool winter jacket. Sana will put a rush on anything you need if necessary, though I have never needed anything quickly. She is capable and pleasant to deal with. Replacing a small zipper will run you around $8-10 and having some small alterations done will likely be around $10-$20. You can ask at the time if you're concerned about cost, though I have always found it to be very reasonable and much better than messing it up myself! You can also pay when you drop your items off or when you pick them up. There's a curtained off dressing room if you need to put on trousers before hemming or get advice on other alterations. I highly recommend this place as it's efficient and inexpensive!
