In case you don't want to read the whole long review below, long story short: Vasile is fantastic. Dependable, communicative, fair and trustworthy. Highly recommend! My LG washing machine started giving me an error code about an uneven load. I tried everything recommended in the manual and online but had no luck. I asked for repair quotes on Yelp to see if it was even worth trying to fix it or if I was going to need to just by a new machine. I kept getting quotes for $150 or more just to come out to look at my washing machine. However, Vasile stood out because his quote was so much lower and reasonable. He provided his phone number in is Yelp message, so I gave him a call, and he said he could come out that same afternoon to look at it. He showed up exactly on time and as promised. Initially, we both thought the issue might have something to do with the suspension rods. He looked over the washing machine and determined he didn't have the right parts (two parts needed replacing), so he'd need to get them and could come back the next day to finish the repair. He texted me the next morning, and then showed up again, exactly as promised. As he started the repairs, he checked some other items and noticed I had a slow leak, which had caused damage to two additional parts inside the machine. One of those parts isn't made anymore (gotta love that planned obsolescence - my machine is not that old!) Vasile had to track down the part and have it shipped from New York. He kept in touch with me the whole time, letting me know when the part arrived and setting another appointment. For the third time (and mind you, none of this was in his control), Vasile showed up exactly when promised with all of the necessary parts and had my washing machine fixed in under 30 minutes. He came to my house three times, tracked down the right parts, made sure everything was working properly, and stuck with me through the whole thing to see the job through! All of this and it cost me $200 for the entire thing (the initial consultation fee, parts, and labor). Granted, I was lucky that the parts I needed were pretty inexpensive and the repairs were quick, but as Vasile said, he only charges what things actually cost (he doesn't jack up his prices like so many other, bigger companies). As I'm finishing this review, my washing machine is running in the background, working perfectly. I cannot recommend Vasile enough!! read more

Terrible experience. I called and scheduled an appointment. Come the time of the appointment you they did not come. When I called back I was told that there was a scheduling issue and that they wouldn't be coming until the next week. This was very annoying but it happens. The issue I had was a gas leak from my oven. I turned off the gas line. When they came for the appointment, they turned the gas line back on. Then they told me they didn't smell anything and pulled out a lighter to prove to me that there was no gas leak. They did not even bring a tool that detected natural gas leaks. They told me that the oven was working fine and then left. Absolutely unbelievable. I would recommend ANY other company over this one. read more

If we could give this company less than a 1 rating, we would. We started this journey on May 23rd, today is July 20th. Refrigerator freezer light was not working. Called them out for service. They said they identified the issue and would order the part. After a month of no communication, we contacted them twice for them to tell us that the part would be here within a few days. When they returned to replace the part, the technician discovered that they had ordered the wrong part and needed to order the correct part and would come back. After another week, they came back with the correct part, but it didn't fix the issue and we were told the refrigerator couldn't be fixed. We got a new refrigerator and scheduled an appointment for them to come back out and install it and haul the old one away. On the day of the scheduled appointment, they didn't show up. We called them several times and left messages but they never returned our calls. We have had our new refrigerator for a week and still not installed. To date, we have not heard from them. read more

Vasile has been a no show twice. Costco conciere referred them to repair a damaged door on our new refrigerator. Vasil showed up once, and verirfied that the door needed to be replace. 3 weeks later he was a no-show for the repair. Another two weeks later, and another no-show for the appointment. We have had to adjust our schedules to be here and wasted our time. Do not use this firm. read more

Vasile came out promptly to fix our dryer steam nozzle. He said if the problem repeated itself I should contact him right away and he would come back with a part that I suggested could be missing from the repair. I called, texted, and even messaged him over yelp several times and still haven't heard back from this guy. Seems like he took my money and decided not to make good on his promise to truly fix the problem with the part I suggested. Sad. :/ read more

The installation was much more complicated than either one of us had anticipated, but he stayed the extra time and provided the additional materials needed to do complete the job. Woke up to a broken Dryer. My go to for appliance repair was not available for 5 days. Looked through yelp. Asked for a quote, was able to meet within 2 hours. Had the parts to fix it on site. Quoted me a price i felt was more than fair and was even abke to fix another issue i dealt with for years. Super fast too. I went to the bank to get money and after he was about 6 minutes in. It was the Fourth of July weekend and we had family visiting and our dryer stopped working. We had tons of laundry to finish so I reached out hoping to get someone to service our dryer in the next day or so. Called Vasile out for our very old Kenmore dryer, we weren't even sure if it was worth fixing. He came by promptly for an estimate and after letting us know what was wrong with it and the pricing , we decided to have it fixed, he already had the parts with him so he was able to fix it pretty quickly for a decent price. Dryer is working great now and he even checked out our Washer while he was here. He even gave us a 60 day warranty on his work. Very responsive & reasonable. Polite and respectful. Vasile was originally quick to repair d and got my dishwasher working. However after 2 weeks it was not working again and he said it needed a new part. This wasn't told to me on the original visit. After a long discussion he said he would be ordering the parts for me. I've been waiting for weeks and have not heard back from Vasile despite multiple approaches of trying to get in contact with him. Poor business management and will never recommend to anyone. My fridge was acting up last week and the fridge was getting too cold and wouldn't maintain a set temperature. Called dr4appliance to come in and take a look and see what's wrong. He came, took apart the control panel and put it back in and said everything looks okay just wait and see if what I did helps. The next day the whole fridge shut down, the temperature inside the fridge came to 60 degree the freezer started melting and water was everywhere. Called again and asked if he can come and take a look at it agin. He came in the next day and by that time the fridge was cooling a hot again but said that we need to order a part and it'll be here next week. Weekend rolls around and I text him to follow up and he says the parts are here and he'll be coming on Tuesday at 5. He NEVER came, stopped answering calls, text messages and everything. Now here I am with about 300 dollars worth of groceries that have gone bad and a fridge and freezer that have stopped working all together. If he couldn't fix it or couldn't come, he could've just replied or told me. This is very frustrating read more

Vasile was very nice. Had him out her a couple of times for two different issues. He was honorable and was prompt. I had another issue which started Sunday, so I texted him on Sunday with the issue and a video of what was happening. Figured he was busy. Haven't heard from him, so on Tuesday I texted him again. Still nothing from him. It's been 5 days and not a text or phone call. I ended up calling someone else who promptly replied. They diagnosed the problem and will be back with the part to fix the issue. read more
