We were greeted with a warm, Brazilian welcome, guided through everything from the sizes, to the filling, to how the pricing works. We both got two pastels and they were delicious. Not greasy whatsoever. They even give you the left over fried dough. I know for next time go fill mine up a bit more because the filling was at the bottom and most of it was dough. But hey, for a first timer, I was more than satisfied. My mother was very happy with her meal and the cane juice she got to accompany her meal. She said she felt like she was in Brazil. The carne seca is sort of like a big deep fried dough with stuffing inside. It was hot, salty and savory. The Coxinha had chicken in the middle surrounded with potato and also deep fried. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17.
