We went on Friday night and it was a pretty empty but I heard it can get pretty party up in there! This place has a lot of potential. There's a huge dance floor and a terrace outside too. We shared the grilled octopus, the fried calamari, the fried zucchini, saganaki, Greek assuages cut up and a salad for entree. Everything was good but my two favorites were the fried zucchini and the calamari. Honestly I've had better grilled octopus elsewhere. Then we shared a main of steak cut into pieces and the bass. I enjoyed the steak but I felt the bass was bland. It needed salt for sure. Maybe it was an off night because the couple we went with said usually they love the fish. I'm not really a fish person though and its rare that I order fish unless it's sushi or tatare or ceviche. We also had a side of potatoes and white asparagus. Damn the white asparagus was so good! I pretty much ate them all myself!! For dessert we had the loukoumades which are deep fried balls glazed with honey. It was good but I was so full that I only ate one and didn't even try the other dessert we ordered.

Première visite a ce restaurant de toute evidence geré par une famille…read more Très bel accueil ou le fils et la mere me salut. Stationnement facile Service chaleureux

Based on 2 visits, I give this Boustan 4 stars. My first takeout visit was 5+ stars. I ordered two…read moreshawarma plates (one of each) and a falafel pita: everything was fresh, hot, very flavourful, and the portions were huge. A few weeks later, I got a delivery order. The chicken shawarma was as yummy as I remembered it, but the falafel sandwich was ice-cold and starting to go soggy (even though the pita had been grilled). I would guess the sandwich had been made way in advance of the Saturday dinner rush. I also tried the kefta plate with an extra beef skewer. All the beef was tasty, but way way overcooked. The beef skewer cubes were very tough and leathery, very difficult to cut even with a stainless steel knife much less a plastic knife. The kefta were dry and mealy - no juice at all. And the sides with this kefta plate were quite skimpy, especially when compared to the chicken shawarma plate right next to it - hardly any potatoes and barely any salad items besides cole slaw. And they forgot the pita bread on both plates and the napkins I had asked for. And the sauces were mostly mayo, quite stingy with the hummus. So unlike the take-out experience, which was fantastic! Moral of the story: Choose eat-in or take-out, so you can see them load up the plates and you can customize your fixings. The place is clean and bright, but the parking lot is cramped in front - park on the side instead. The staff is friendly and fast. But delivery may suffer because of their popularity and the captive audience - the orders are either made way in advance or sit in the driver's car for too long, and the portions are much smaller.

Very tasty ^_^ I was about to give it a non-perfect 4 star review instead because the meat (I got…read moresteak/beef) wasn't as tender as I'd like it to be, but they did something I haven't tried before, which was grill the bread while in sammich mode, which made the arabic thin pita bread crispy. That just brought it all together and very delicious ^_^ I even enjoyed the humus, when usually i don't like that stuff xp I also liked the pickled beets too, wasn't too sour or overwhelming for me. Was a really nice balanced sammich all the way down, very full of meat I'm happy we have a place like this down here in the west island. My parents use to only get ones from further away but stopped because they had a fire accident and removed their charcoal cooking methods so there was no point for us to travel all the way there anymore for something like this when it's now as common as anywhere. I actually normally don't like these kinds of sammiches, especially since you find really low quality dry tough cheap versions in malls and places like Amir, which I just can't lol So this was nice ^_^ also was cool how they seemed to have some sort of a special going on where you order 5 and get 1 free xp We really enjoyed it, everyone liked theirs, and I was really happy my dad enjoyed it too since it was father's day and he rarely eats food that wasn't made at home haha XD
