My husband and I met Ashley in Oceanside beach for our session. Ashley was very flexible with time and was prompt with responses. Ashley took time to create a vision for what we wanted. And more importantly, she wanted our engagement shoot to tell our story. That's so important in photography and intimate photos that will last. She had a few suggestions for us as far as attire and poses. We have never taken professional photos before but Ashley made it seem no natural for us. Ashley didn't end when the allotted what suppose to end. She showed her true art by making sure I was happy with the photos and took a few extras to my benefit. I came to Ashley with not your typical request, I was pregnant and wanted her to capture the moment I told my husband he was going to be a daddy. Ashley's excitement about my request warmed my heart. I will forever be grateful to her for not only agreeing to be part of my surprise but also keeping my big secret. I couldn't be happier with the photos Ashely captured. Fast forward to June 2018 and we had the opportunity to shoot with Ashley again. She did a mini session with us for our little girls first birthday and also documenting my second pregnancy. We were…read morelucky enough to find him on Yelp for our engagement photos, and in mid-November of 2024 he braved the chill of Palomar Mountain to take spectacular photos of us. Nonstop compliments from friends and family, and received much quicker than anticipated. Once we got into wedding planning, Shaun was the obvious choice for our photography needs. Along with his second shooter Jess (Jessica Christie Photography), he again knocked it out of the park. Couldn't have asked for more perfect photos. On a more personal note, Shaun is the above-and-beyond type of person to take the absolute best shots possible. Like, fixing the boutonniere on my suit himself for the exact right angle, or gently shoo'ing away stinkbugs while helping my wife to re-tie her wedding shoes type of person. She is absolutely amazing, has incredible patience and really goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the pictures and her work. I think her prices are very reasonable we actually got a discount recently on our maternity/newborn photos because I used her for my wedding (she offers a bellies to babies package that I highly recommend). She explained as long as I keep using her she offers discounts! I remember for my wedding she made sure that I got all of the pictures and different poses I wanted (plus some really cool ideas I didnt even think of!) and recently for our maternity shoot I printed out a bunch of pics off of Pinterest of different maternity poses I liked and she made sure to get them ALL before we were done. She made me feel so comfortable 9+ months pregnant and the pics she took turned out absolutely beautiful!! She also has a makeup artist that she hires out if you request it and she did my makeup and hair in the studio for the maternity shoot which I thought was very reasonably priced and convenient. All proceeds went directly to one of our local shelters that does amazing work helping pets find homes. She held a drawing for families who brought their pets in for a full photo session and our family was one of the lucky winners. We had our full family (two leggeds and four leggeds) photographed with her a few months later and it was truly an amazing experience. Audrey's professionalism and talent are beyond compare, but what really made her stand out in my mind was her ability to "read" our family and capture us just as we are. An example of this is our youngest daughter, who can tend to be a stinker when she's nervous or out of her element. Audrey was completely patient with her and waited until she was able to relax enough to be photographed. We weren't rushed in any way - she took her time and got some amazing shots of our girls, our pets and our whole family.
