Being a photographer my self I was dreading the day I got married worrying about who I was going to trust to get the shots that I wanted and have the eye that I have for the details, planning my wedding I would think about how I wanted the picture to turn out and then work backwards to put together the details to make it happen. Finding the right photographer was exhausting. I searched for months and met with many photographers I had found online and were referred to by friends....and I was feeling very discouraged, until I stumbled across Ashley's website. I just loved the way she captured the raw emotion and steamy glances of the bride and groom, the way she was able to capture the perfect lighting...in every picture, and the passion she had for capturing moments. Ashley not only has the awesome creative flare that comes through in all her photographs but she is beyond professional and works with the customer in mind on every aspect. Ashley's prices were beyond fair and she was very flexible with our needs and attentive to us during the whole wedding planning process and even went out of her way to do little things to make us feel so special leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day Ashley was fabulous to work with, she was with me every minute I needed her and also was very sensitive to keeping us on schedule so our day went off with out a hitch. She may be small but she was able to command our entire 16 person wedding party and get the pictures we asked for all in the time allotted. She was a huge part of the planning process for the timeline and day of specifics and sent tons of tools and spent lots of time with us discussing and piecing together our special day. She even had the idea to sneak away during the reception for some sunset romantics around the venue with just me and my husband which turned out being the best idea to get some alone time with him after our wedding and the shots she got were stunning and we are so thankful for them! After the wedding she gave us sneak peaks while we were still on our honeymoon which was so wonderful because the entire night was such a blur that it was so good to look back on it. I was beyond excited to receive all of our photos and Ashley worked so hard to edit and get them to us very fast! I was so impressed! And every shot she took from getting ready to getting in the limo after was epic! There were some specific poses and moments that I remember during the wedding that weren't included in the lot that she gave us, but its totally understandable as she did end up giving us over a thousand edited beautiful and perfect pictures. When you are working with Ashley you have fun and can be your self. She has passion, a lust for life and a way about her that makes you feel instantly comfortable to be your self and know that every facet of your personality and inner beauty will also make it into her pictures because not only does she know what shes doing, but she also LOVES it and loves life which shines through in every picture. I can honestly say that I have gone through every photo she took at our wedding on a weekly basis since the wedding because she did such a beautiful job capturing the very essence of my husband and I and our wedding details that I get to go back re-live each moment as many times as I want! Engagement: Where do I even begin?!?! Ashley was referred to me by a mutual friend, I was given her blog info and I immediately was captivated by her work at that time most of her work.
