He talked to me to get information for the case and to get paid. After he got a certified check from Atlantic Union Bank. He waited until approximately 10days before going to court and withdrew from her case. Besides that sent a statement with a break down of his charges and never put on there what he was paid for real never put on there the thousands of dollars I paid but had the audacity to say she owe him. We went to court without a lawyer and he think he should get paid more money and did NOT put his feet in the court room.

I was not out for blood from my now ex-husband, and wanted to preserve the relationship as best as I could for my child's sake. Mr. Randle reminded me of that along the way and I am glad he did. He would call me just to check on me (and did not bill me for those wellness check ups) and that made working with him all the better. I had an initial consult with Mrs. Randle on an employment matter and found a friend in her as well. Although I did not retain her or any other attorney, the advice and options she provided to me were helpful. It was refreshing to work with someone who was more interested in helping me than in collecting a retainer fee. I have read the other reviews and would agree that no one, including myself is perfect. However, I have had a solid, professional, friendly, and successful experience with this firm.

I was involved in a federal case with very sensitive details and a wrongful arrest which even…read moreinvolved a SWAT team. Michael Lawlor and Nicholas Madiou are professional con-artist liars that initially assured me that he would get my charges dropped and that I didn't have to worry about any other potential charges. Michael himself expressed that he thought this was just a silly mistake that shouldn't even be a misdemeanor and told me that the prosecutor in my case himself initially perceived it as a "bad day" and thought my intentions were probably in the right place. So I retained him to help me get this over with quickly. He changed his tone completely after the retainer payment (which happened to fall right after his first time 'negotiating' with the prosecutor) and kept emphasizing to me that the jury would "100% vote guilty" if I took it to trial (without even telling me that I had a right to a trial and all the things that I would be giving up if I decided to follow his advice and not take this to trial). I guess many of his other clients might be ignorant, but as most people should know, you can never guarantee how a jury trial is going to go when its panel consists of humans, especially when you are in fact innocent. The fact that Michael Lawlor and Nick Madiou didn't even want me to entertain proving my innocence in a trial tells you how lazy and unethical they are in addition to their dishonesty. But even despite telling me that, what really struck me even more about his lack of honesty was when he tried to convince me of the Federal government's actual dismissal rate on cases (I had privately investigated this on my own, so I caught his bluff). Then he brought up other people that got prison time for what he wanted me to believe were 'similar' crimes. Only difference is that those people were ACTUALLY GUILTY CRIMINALS with plenty of priors (of which I had none). The fact that he couldn't distinguish between other criminal cases and my own shows how little he actually cares about the personal details of your case. So naturally, when I challenged his reasoning, he became extremely accusatory; what really irked me is that he wouldn't even let me talk. It was all him talking louder to silence my voice and attempt to make me "feel" guilty. In fact, he eventually convinced me to plead guilty to a felony (far removed from when he conveyed that it shouldn't even be a misdemeanor). He promised me that this would be the best route and that there would be nothing more than probation. However, he lied. I found this out way too late, right before my official sentencing, as the sentencing guideline from the prosecutor side included house arrest and other additional burdens that I was never informed about through Michael, and when I confronted him about it before the actual sentencing, he began yelling at me like the cantankerous old racist man that he is and simply told me to "deal with it." I would not recommend Michael to anyone. If you are involved in a federal case, I highly recommend going with a free Federal Defender. Contrary to what you might hear, they are actually not overworked or stressed out when it comes to federal cases and they are usually from ivy league schools such as Harvard/Yale and will not use unethical tactics to try to lure you in like Michael and Nick do. Stay away from this law firm. Also look at the picture of you don't believe me that they're crooks who belong in prison.
