We get to an impasse where we can't finish my taxes because they're just a bit more complicated than a basic 1040 form and his father, the actual CPA, is unavailable. I made an appointment with a CPA because I knew I needed one. I did not get one here. I left with my taxes unfinished and a business card and was told to make another appointment when I was ready to complete my taxes (without a CPA as I understood it). Needless to say, I did not return. Why would anyone want to pay to have their taxes done by a person with no tax experience or certification?
