Susan cared about me and my family, providing timely, practical solutions for our unique planning needs. Even in a fairly straightforward last will, there is legal language that can be confusing - Susan patiently broke it down to layman's language. She took the time to know the situation well enough to make sure I understood the alternatives and why she was making a particular recommendation. She explained the best ways to write a power of attorney and advanced medical directives so that should they need to be used, there would be no question about my intent. Susan earns a 5 star rating - she is conscientious, creative and thorough.

My first attorney, Lisa quit halfway throughout my case because she was overwhelmed. She was unprepared for my pendente lite hearing and set my case on a downward trajectory from the start. Another attorney later took over and was more competent, but I felt he did not want to take the case to trial. Because of that, I am now facing the consequences of bad advice. Overall, I did not feel supported, and I regret placing my trust in this firm.

After paying the initial deposit and submitting the required forms, I received no communication for several weeks. Furthermore, I was required to pay the final fee before having a consultation or seeing any documents. The materials I eventually received did not align with my intentions, but rather reflected a literal interpretation of the forms. A brief consultation prior to drafting would have been far more efficient. Additionally, the subsequent revisions took several weeks and resulted in documents containing both graphical and factual errors. While I have now received the final versions, I remain concerned about their accuracy and have little confidence in their legal integrity.

My parents been looking for an estate lawyer for a while to help them set up a plan to pass on their assets and found stouffer legal with there many positives reviews on google and yelp. Stouffer Legal has many lawyers, our estate lawyer was Matt during the meeting. He explained clearly the process of setting up an estate and the benefit it has for personal protection and for asset transfer. He answered all our questions and future meeting to proceed with the initiation of estate set up. This place has a large parking lot so no issue finding a parking space. All in all, had a good experience here and would highly recommend Matt to help anyone set up an estate planning.
