Powder release color mixed with liquid sealer and spray pumped on concrete creating spots.
Corey B.

Horrible experience and workmanship! Started with them forgetting the border around the patio. Continued with poor workmanship and no detail at all with stamping and color being all over the place. Notified John, the owner, of all the problems. He sent workers to "fix the problems". They didn't address most of them and created a bigger mess. When John, the owner, finally came to my home after the first set of workers. He look at my complaints (the photo with spots all over the concrete are from where powdered release was mixed with the sealer and spot sprayed all over the concrete when they sealed it), he needed me to point out why it didn't look good. Does that look normal? Also showed him the other issues with stamping and rough concrete sticking up all over. He assured me he would be at the site when the workers came back a third time, to make sure they fixed things right and had direction. A few days later two guys showed up at my back gate at 6:30pm with no warning... and NO John! With no supervision they proceeded to try to scrub off the dark color stained spots with Xylene and resealed it 20 minutes later. This did not fix the problem as the new sealer couldn't penetrate the concrete with the Xylene on it and not dried. The concrete still looks horrible and now has dull, sanded looking spots all over. Nothing was done to fix the poor stamping or any of the rough concrete sticking up. They were suppose to seal the tan square pad that put in, but said it didn't need it even after John assured me they would and they must of forgot. If you are not trained on installing colored or stamped concrete, don't advertise you are! Now I am paying for an experienced concrete company to fix this poor workmanship.

Stamped concrete patio

Our patio looks amazing! They did a great job from demo of our current patio concrete and wood deck to the placement of the new stamped concrete! They worked tirelessly despite the intermittent rain. We are so proud of our new patio! We would absolutely recommend SAM the concrete Man for any and all your concrete jobs.

Our chimney foundation settled and the entire brickwork was shifting away from the house. Clean…read moreSweep came out and Sam talked to us about options at different levels. The quoting process was great and easy to compare options. We bit the bullet and decided rather than applying some bandaids, we should get the entire thing rebuilt. This way, WE could enjoy a beautiful fireplace rather than paying for someone else to when the house is eventually sold. The guys at Clean Sweep did a beautiful job! They demoed the old chimney, jackhammered the foundation, poured a new one, and built us a working chimney from (below) the ground up! We opted for a gas log and a nice set of doors to keep the dogs and kiddos out when it's turned off. We were extremely happy with the team, especially our project manager Daniel who answered our endless questions and gave us a lot of confidence. Their price was fair but more importantly, we knew we could trust Sam, Daniel and the team to do good work.

Bad experience from start to finish with Clean Sweep 317. As soon as the tech walked in my door he…read morebegan fear mongering. He had no even opened the doors to my fireplace yet. For all he knew it could have been completely remodeled last year because he hadn't even seen it yet. Then as soon as he did open it he told me I wanted a gas insert which I definitely do not and told him as much. He continued to try to instill fear the entire time he was there which was over 2 hours. He talked about several options and things that need fixed. And a special kind of sweep that was needed due to a level 3 creosote in the chimney. During his sweep and inspection he had a lot of problems with his equipment and kept banging them loudly up and down in the chimney likely causing more damage. Then he got to the top and told us our damper handle wasn't even connected. which it was before he started banging around in there. I know so because it is only 2 years old and only been used a handful of times since it has been installed. He was rude and disruptive, interjecting into the conversations my 94 year old Grandmother was having with her nurse and her caregiver. Once he finally finished with a lot more fear mongering and telling me, "you can roll the dice if you want to, but what you really want is a gas insert." Again, I had to tell him I don't want a gas insert. He was insistent on me how it would actually heat the room and and again I told him I don't want to heat the room, I have a furnace for that. As he finally left he assured me he was sending a quote which I assumed would have all of the options he talked about on it. Well, 2 weeks later a thank you card came from the owner. Cute, but I'd rather have the quote. A month later my husband finally reached out to ask for the quote since it was never sent. A quote was sent, finally, for a product called Priorfire Retrofit Fireplace for $15,000. Not only was this option never mentioned while the tech was in my home. The options he did mention were not in the quote. This option is horrible, it is stupid expensive and makes the fire place look like a child's toy. It is like bathfitter for fireplaces. It would reduce the size of our gorgeous fireplace by at least 2/3 and it just looks like a terrible cheap bandaid fix. No one that respects the quality and craftsmanship of their home would install this and be happy with it. I don't have a problem with spending money on this project but if I am going to put 15k into my fireplace I want it fixed not dramatically downgraded.

August 5th I received the insurance check, Tracy informed me to deposit the check and then pay him. I spoke to my insurance company August 4th and was advised ai was cancelled but they would reinstate my policy as long as my roof was repair within 30 days and they also would release the rest of the claim payout as long as I send them a receipt and the pictures that the roof was replaced. Tuesday August 12th my lender informed me since my insurance was cancelled and I will be getting the new roof that weekend they gave me until Wednesday to submit my reinstated policy or they would force a policy with a $250 fee plus the premium. I informed Tracy of both deadlines. August 15th the money was released I called Tracy and met him to pay him. He stated he would get the materials and drop them off that day and start the work that day or Saturday. No materials were dropped off and everyday he was supposed to come no show. Sunday Gilbert told Tracy he would check the weather because it may rain. I received no update. I paid for a new insurance policy to ensure I do not miss my deadline of Wednesday to have coverage. Monday August 18th Tracy called and said they removed the roof and the decking needs to be replaced but he replaced a few boards on the front and will wait for the insurance to approve the back. I called the insurance he emailed them the pictures and they stated they would not cover it. Tracy then quoted me $2193 to replace 20 boards. I just paid for another year of insurance I couldn't pay that now he said the roof has a tarp it should be okay for sometime he could take $1300 down the rest later. I found many cheaper quotes and replaced the decking. He said Gilbert was mad and would not finish the job. He has not given me my requested materials that I have an invoice he brought to finish the roof & I have no gutters and half a roof of new shingles on soft bumpy decking.
