He claimed that he could fix PS3 YLoD (yellow light of death) motherboard issue and that he had the right equipment to do so. That turned out to be a lie as all the machines he fixed broke again. I concluded my business with him and washed my hands of him only for him to show up at my store in 2018 all smiles like nothing happened, asking if I'd like to partner with him again. You can imagine my response. A quick online showed me that they opened up a proper store front in 2016 so I posted a bad review on Google Maps. They called me days later claiming the only Mohammed working there was a then 16-year-old boy (they're using child labor?) and that my bad review somehow constitutes harassment (it doesn't). Assuming all those glowing reviews aren't completely fake, it seems like he's hired or at least partnered with competent technicians. But he's still offering ridiculously low prices for PS3 motherboard repairs to the general public, which means he's still cutting corners in some places. Let the buyer beware The Owner replied: "Mr. Joel, according to our records, DONO Electronique has never done business with you and do not have you as client. Sounds more like jealously. This is purely false accusation. We will not tolerate hate. Our work and our satisfied clients talks for itself. I wish you success and have yourself a good day." Of course calling them on their BS counts as hate nowadays. Why would I hate a guy for screwing me? And then pretending to not know who I am, especially after the last bad review I left them? I'm not jealous, I'm disgusted. Oh, and one of his goons called to say that if I continue posting "jealous" bad reviews, that my store won't have windows. He said this to me on speakerphone while I was at my store in the presence of witnesses. Private number or not, we'll see what the police has to say about that.

Went to a place in Vaudreuil-Dorion suffice to say they did not fix the problem, so in desperation went to Surplustek...and guess what after a few days got a call that my PC was pretty sick, lots of malware, virus etc. incompatibility with some of my hardware, to make a long story short, my desktop is working just fine did a lot of cleaning up and disk cleaning. Very happy customer, the technician Stephane and his wife Virginie are fantastic and knowledgeable. Their prices are very competitive and they don't do B.S. and that is why I will always have a good word for them and their business, they sell anything and everything and they have a computer shop where you can get a new life for your desktop. From my 1st phone call to Mohamed inquiring about pricing and repair time worked well for me. He even called me back after store hours to facilitate the repair. Surprisingly, he also fixed a driver problem causing my touch pad to be disabled with no extra charge. The cost was $45 as quoted and honored by Mohamed, I gave him $60 since if felt he truly went the distance for me. He is a real honest gentleman. I have been buying and building PC's for over 30 years, in my opinion, you cannot go wrong entrusting your PC needs with this company. What a great little photo shop in westmount square! We went in a few days before Christmas because…read moremy daughter wanted to make a framed photo collage of family pictures for her grandparents. They have a good selection of nice frames of different sizes at reasonable prices. We were able to pick out a frame and print our pictures from her phone on the spot. Not only that, but the nice salesman in the store volunteered to place the photos in the frame and hang a picture wire on it for us, thus saving me about 30 minutes of work at home and doing a much better job of it in the process. I know it's usually easier and cheaper to send things off to Walmart or similar, but for something special there's no substitute for expert and professional service at a place like this.
