They completed it the same day and it was beautiful. However, when it rained because of the way my driveway sits on a decline I decided the water should be diverted to the side. I called him and left a message. Mr. Carroll called me back and said they would be happy to come back and add a berm to redirect the runoff. He had his crew there a few days later and added the berm. He said he just wanted to make sure I was happy and satisfied with their work which I am very much. It's getting harder to find people who take pride in their work and do a great job like he and his crew did for me. I am very pleased and grateful.

The lack of communication and attention from John Carrol, the owner, to make a job right that they installed incorrectly is infuriating. Job Started 2/21/2023 finished 2/22/2023 PROBLEMS: Hit my metal fence and bent it with stone compactor, bent back in shape by hand, did not offer to replace the section. Cut my fios fiber optic cable We had a big dip in the driveway, it was so deep and that when the poured the asphalt and compacted, the edge came in 6-8 inches because. Its also so deep that after driving on it cars have compacted it more so the driveway dips a few inches again. This part was not done right. John promised the new edges wouldn't be steep because of the way they form the edges. Having paved over several layers of driveway they created a big stepdown to the grass. I have since spend thousands of dollars adding soil to the edges and seeding. This was not expected, John sold the job as if this would not be an issue at all. They drain pipes for me before laying the driveway but after adding soil and reworking the pipes we found them full of water because they were not sloping down hill. I had to take an important section out because it was just holding water. Puddles on Driveway infront of garage - Sent pics to John on 2/24/23, 3/2/23, 4/26/23, 10/31/23, 11/22/23, 12/10/23, 1/13/24, 2/12/24, 2/23/24,2/28/24, 4/2/24, 5/3/24, 5/4/24,5/12/24 John said the puddles are shallow he'll take care of it on 3/2/2023 End of Driveway Crumbling - Sent pics to John on 3/10/23 Water coming in garage because of negative slope - Sent Pics to John on 4/30/23, 5/29/23, 8/25/23, 9/8/23, 9/9/23, 5/12/24 Edges of Driveway cracking off - Sent pics to John 6/8/23 Communication from John John said the puddles are shallow he'll take care of it on 3/2/2023 8/10/23 - Responded he would come look 9/9/23 came to "fix" the problems The fix was using the Asphalt Roller to vibrate and compact a trench in the driveway. This created gouges in the driveway and a bigger puddle and the water still comes in the garage. Because of the surface damage to they sealed the driveway at no cost but I still have the problem 3/15/23 - Johns response - refuted everything about the edges, told me that he did the sealcoat as a favor and that he'd install a French drain at cost 3/20/23 I responded to all of his comments, and I have not heard a word since. Had the driveway been installed sloping away from my house with no puddles from day 1 or had the fix been to rip out the driveway in front of the garage and do it right I would be happy but instead John has not responded since, today is 5/30/24, and I still have water coming in my garage and a giant puddle after every time it rains. 2025 - I've given John countless opportunities to come fix his companies mistakes and they are yet to show up to make it right. Spend the extra money, use a company that stands behind their work and makes their mistakes right.

When he was finished, we paid him for the job only to realize within a few days that we had more water at the end of the driveway then before he started. He guaranteed us he would come back and fix it. It has now been six months. We have contacted him numerous times, saying that he will fix it, but he has never come back. He used our Mayor in our small town as a reference and said he did work for our town. Beware of him and his company, he will take the money and run.

By August 15, he finally responded to me to tell me that he was, "on a big job doing an apartment complex and that he would take care of mine the following week." That is the last I've heard from him and I've reached out countless times via voicemail and text message asking for a refund or a scheduled appointment. Now I'm out $400 and he's not responding to me. I'm an idiot for trusting this company and the reviews, and paying the invoice for quoted work.
