I am not sure if they are understaffed or the situation is, but this is the worst experience I have ever had. I recently moved to this area and scheduled my appointment about 6 months ago only to have my appointment cancelled less than a week before my appointment, with no explanation, just they were no longer able to take me. The office NEVER answers the phone, does not return any calls. Honestly after my experience with them leading up to my appointment, I didn't really trust them to be able to provide good service, I am just in need of a dental office that accepts my insurance. Unfortunately, this office is so VERY unprofessional. read more

They cancelled my appointment with a message after made me wait 6 months for it. After I left 2 voicemail, she called me back 4 hours later without any apology neither saying sorry, just to say it. The best she was able to do a month later. Really bad business. They don't care about you and your time. She said nobody cares about the reviews and hung up the phone. She thinks she can treat people however she wants. If you are reading this take your business to Amador dentistry. I called them after that and they gave me appointment much faster than them and they were respectful and kind. read more

Dr. English does not work in the Williamsburg office. The dentist there is Dr. Tiara Harrison and she is not a good dentist!! So be aware and be careful. However, Alex the dental hygienist is great! read more

Alex cleaned my teeth in fantastic fashion. Quick, efficient, thorough - plus a pleasing personality. Kept me apprised of all findings. Excellent service!!! read more

Alex, the hygienist was amazing cleaning my teeth. The result was a bright and smooth, fresh feeling in my mouth. Polite and courteous.

You guys are terrific! Albeit no Humana coverage everything was perfect. And thanks to Alex for taking the extra time to dislodge the "tooth-a- roid" from my gum.... Thanks again, Leighton read more

Dr Lazar and hygienest Alex are excellent professionals. The office is clean and services were provided in a timely manner. My wife and I have been patients for several years and highly recommend this practice for dental services . read more

Receptionist was welcoming and explained that my wait would be a short one. Alex, my hygenist, has a gentle touch and such a friendly manner. She is a real gem. I saw Dr. Harrison for my exam today. This was my first time seeing her. She did not try to pressure me into a treatment plan I was not comfortable with. I know the practice has had staffing isues in the past, but my visit today was great. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Awful. They had us waiting for 30 minutes in the lobby before bringing us back. Then we sat in a room for another 30 minutes waiting for the one hygienist working that day to finish the person she was working on. She cleaned my oldest son's teeth first, then my younger son's teeth. The hygienist was so busy that she skipped my youngest son's x-rays. Unacceptable. Then it was my turn, but the hygienist went and worked on someone who came in AFTER us first. We'd already been there for two hours! We have been going there for years, and the staff turn over is the highest I've ever seen. We will not back, EVER. Absolutely awful experience. Trying a new dentist today. read more

If anyone is looking for a dentist, avoid Dr. English in Williamsburg and West Point. I have been having issues with a billing problem that they admitted was their mistake 6 months ago. They won't call me back no matter how many messages I leave them and actually went to the office twice in the last month trying to get this resolved. They said they would get back to me 2 weeks ago and Saturday I got notified they sent me to collections. I called today and asked to speak with Dr. English himself and was told by a lady in his office that he never calls anyone back so good luck. What a way to run a business! read more

Waited for three months for an appointment, received a confirmation text message, get there today, not on the list. I just get a "sorry about that, not sure what happened, we'll get back to you in a week or so with a new appointment". Terrible. A child with a cavity and taken out of school for the appointment, uhhg. Moving family to a new dentist! read more

Horrible facility They have a high turnover so you never see the same dentist ever! Have had several mess ups that they should be fixing but try to change your wording since you do not know the correct terminology that they use. Have called Corporate and get no where and no returned calls. Which makes it even more suspicious of why they are not returning your calls. Do you have to destroy and hide the records that show one of your facilities screw ups. Sad that we have been warned previously of the location in Williamsburg and all the bad experiences but we have always been a firm believer of not listening to others due to their experiences. Now we have learned our lesson. Never again. read more

This is the worst dentist I've been to. I called for an appointment and was told I could have the tooth I had problems with removed. I arrived for my appointment and the xray was taken. Then I was told it was only a consultation. I was then told they could do the extraction if I was willing to wait. I agreed. Then they proceeded to refuse to help me. The office staff is incompetent. I wouldn't go back even if it were my last and only option. Waste of time and money! read more

I'm done here. Started ~3 years ago. Had a great dentist from WI. She left and it has been a different dentist every time I visit now. Got a crown started 6 weeks ago. New Doc broke it trying to put it on. Another 3 weeks with a temp. New crown, 45 minutes later, with taking the crown off 15 (!!) times to fit it. My mom's quadruple bypass surgery took less time. It has turned into strip mall dentistry. read more

The dentist is just as scatter brained as the office staff. I wouldn't even trust them to clean my teeth, let alone fix a small chip in my bonding, so I walked out. Save yourself some time, not to mention your teeth, and find a dentist who knows what they are doing. read more

Very friendly office. My hygienist, (I didn't catch her name.. petite brunette with long wavy hair) was AWESOME! Skilled, educated and so personable. She kept me comfortable and laughing through entire appointment. Dr. Broas was awesome as well! Doesn't over treatment plan and very thorough. Highly recommend! read more

I went to this facility because of my insurance. I was not impressed from the outset, but since I only needed a cleaning, I was willing to proceed with care. I called yesterday for a prescription for a 'cold sore' medication, which I have received from previous dentists countless times. No return call yesterday from the office. I called again this morning, only to be told that I would need to make an appointment to go and have a dentist 'look at the cold sore'. I asked if there was an office charge for this bogus appointment, and was told 'yes'. Had a bad feeling about this money pit to start.....will be seeking care elsewhere at a more patient-friendly environment. ************************************************************ Just called my previous dentist (established patient).....prescription has been called in without needing an additional appointment ($$). Just to illustrate the differences in practices.... read more

Get a second opinion. I was a patient for several years. Never saw the same dentist twice. Last visit I was told I needed a crown and and several filings. Sensing that wasn't accurate, I went to another provider (highly rated) who refuted all of this dentist's findings. read more

Hygienist is competent and personable - I usually try to schedule 6 months plus in advance to get the same woman. I rarely see the same dentist in the same year however. Had one filling done and dentist numbed my mouth twice, forced open my mouth much wider than I physically could do so reasonably. As a result of those actions - I now have tinitis - ringing in the years. My ears were hissing (sounds like rushing air or ocean) when I went to check out at desk so bad that I had to keep asking the rude woman to repeat herself. Wish there was a way to prove it and sue them..... I had to have material placement at a cracked tooth redone within a year of having it done the first time - two different dentists. My cracked tooth hurts MORE OFTEN than it did before anyone touched it so I don't let them near it now. I just called to confirm my appointment and the woman said a day and time which was not what I had agreed to six months ago so I just had to reschedule. This has happened before. Good thing I called ahead of time! Like others have said - incompetent and revolving door of dentists. I think young dentists practice on patients here. Luckily my teeth are mostly healthy. I need to find another dentist in the Williamsburg area. read more
