Showed up 14 minutes late to my appointment, which was my fault and I admit it, but they usually have a 15 minute grace period and I was there before their cut off time. The office staff pointed to the clock and said you are past the 15 minute grace period and I said ,no the clock says I am ok... their response,NO BOTH OF OUR CLOCKS, YOUR WATCH AND PHONE ARE WRONG, WE CANNOT SEE YOU! I'm really ticked off at this point because I already had to reschedule for their convience, earlier in the week on 2 hours notice (if I tried that they would charge me) because hygienist was "sick", I only took 9:30 am because they said otherwise they couldn't fit me in until June, seriously 3 months. So leaving angry and rethinking if I need to find a new dentist office or not. I like my dentist, but the office staff, not so much. I did get the lady who refused to let me be seen, her name is Jamie Barnes say they will not charge me for a missed a appointment since I rescheduled for them earlier in the week. read more

Showed up today after confirming my appointment 3 times before, including 1 day before showing up, just for them to say my appointment had been shifted to the next month when I arrived there (early). Review: The dentist are good but with the service provided by the other staff mainly billing is DISHONEST and HORRIBLE. They lied and told me they filed my claim, after the dental work I'm looking for the claim on my insurance portal and it was NEVER FILED.....payments made in June and August for the FULL AMOUNT without insurance and I have insurance. I keep calling because someone is going to give me some answers and reimburse me for the overpayment...they WILL NOT RETURN CALLS after numerous voicemails to the corporate billing office (757)208-0992. This location is full of dishonest people and since they will not call me back I'll just make a trip to the office before I go to BBB and finish posting my review for this location. My husband and I have lived in the area for ten years. We have gone to the Morrison practice from the time we moved here. My husband left the practice about two years ago due to the rudeness of the staff. I should have followed suit. There is frequent and constant turn over of dentists. You rarely see the same one twice. I had scheduled an 8:00 a.m appointment for a crown over a month ago. I received several text reminders for this appointment and was told to check in fifteen minutes before my appointment. When I arrived at 7:45 as directed, I was met with a sign on the desk that said that the staff would be with patients at 8:00 a.m. I stood at the check in window for fifteen minutes and was ignored by staff...even though several made eye contact with me. When I tried to check in, I was told that my appointment had been "rescheduled." I had received no notice. After returning home, the office called an said they had mistakenly scheduled me at the Williamsburg office. Every appointment I have had in the lest ten years has been at Norge. I am sure that I can find an office with a more customer service oriented and a friendly staff. read more

I have a LOOONG history of trauma when it comes to my teeth and dentists. Not here. Dr. Maharty treats me like family. He is kind and understands the issues I have. I'm also a hard stick with Novocaine (not used anymore but you know what I talking about, the only name I know) He knows this and he does his work around my issue instead of telling me I don't know what I'm talking about as others have. There is the level of care one should always get when getting any kind of procedure done. To me Ashley and Dr. Maharty are above and beyond this call. They have helped me in so many ways I will never be able to thank them enough. I truly hope Robert and Alison get to read this because I want them to know their staff have been amazing, kind, and gone above and beyond the level of compassion every customer should be so lucky to receive. Dentist was fine but the Billing Group is the worst. We have gone there for almost 6 years now and NEVER have we gotten a correct bill and I have to spent hours straightening it all out. Once they told me that the insurance company declined my claim and so when I called the insurance company they said because they double billed them for the visit so they paid one and declined the other and so she was good enough to stay on the line while I got Morrison Dental billing on the phone so she could prove to her what happened, it has just gone downhill from there. Twice a year my husband and I went for cleaning and I spent hours on the phone to prove once again they had billing incorrect. Most of the time when I called they would say the invoice went sent out incorrectly and would resent out new invoice when they corrected or they would say it was sent out in error as they hadn't billed the insurance company yet. Now they say we owe $13.21 from 2021 and refuse to take my Husband as a patient!!!! Office manager doesn't care either so that says a lot too. I can see from other reviews lots of others have the same problem with billing issues. read more

Few masks and ouch! Helen cleaned my teeth in about 5 minutes. Every second hurt. She was extremely rough. I had no problems or cavities. Also, they are no longer following their covid prevention measures, even though the email reminder said they were. Half of the staff was maskless. Patients waiting were maskless. I know community spread is on the low side but we are still having cases. Besides dentists are a medical facilities (as their own email reminded me) and thus a required to mask. Recommend you go somewhere else. The cleaning I had was well done, but afterwards was told that looking at my last X-rays that I had a small cavity. Funny how they didn't see that at my last appointment. The filling was done poorly and time was not taken to make sure the filling was level. Have been having issues with that tooth since, will have to find a more reputable dentist to fix it. read more

I most recently went to see Dr. Goldstein to have my crown put on after my root canal and overall him and his team did an excellent job. I was not able to give 5 stars for only some minor problems. First when I was left a voicemail to confirm my appointment I did call back but I was never informed about a cost estimate for the procedure so when I showed up and was told that it was going to be $$$ I was a little shocked and just wished I was a little more prepared. Secondly the room I was in was very chilly and since the procedure was almost 2 hours I wish I had a blanket! Also, if you have ever had a crown put on you know there are a few segments of downtime where I wish I could of got some work done but they don't allow you to get on their WiFi so I couldn't do any emails from my laptop. Other than those really minor things I would recommend Morrison dental group to all my friends and family in the area! read more

The staff and hygienists are very nice; but my families experience here has been awful. This is the first dentist I have ever used who has to "preauthorize" every procedure with insurance before doing it. They actually seem to use snail mail to do so as well---the spousal unit is still waiting (a month later) to get a tooth pulled because this office is so backwards.... And we have excellent insurance coverage. My experience with the dentist was not great either - not very friendly at all. He basically left a big conversation in the room next door, walked in to my exam room, did a quick filling, and left to continue his conversation next door. I had to come back again for an adjustment because he didn't even bother to ask me about how things felt when he was finished. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST OFFICE TO ANYONE. read more

Watch out! I came in for a filling, and my dental insurance only covers silver fillings. They put in a white filling without asking me what kind I wanted or informing me that my dental insurance may not cover this procedure. I called them and alerted them of them of this, and they told me that they did in fact have signs posted saying that they use white fillings. However, I was in their offices four times in two weeks, and had not noticed a single sign for this. I would have liked to have been personally told that I may have to pay for the specific type of filling out of pocket. This is very misleading, and I am incredibly unhappy. Furthermore, once I had received my filling, I had to go back a second time to get it reshape because it was not shaped correctly. When I came by a second time, I had to wait for over even with an appointment, and because I could not continue to wait around forever, I had to come back a third time, further inconveniencing me. Just be aware that they may charge you for this and there is nothing you can do about it. And that they may do a bad job the first time, and make you wait when you want to get it fixed. I hope my bad experience helps someone else. read more

I have been going to Morrison Dental Group for several years now and have always been welcomed with open arms and warm smiles. I have always been impressed by the level of care and dedication the dentists, hygienists, assistants, and receptionists have towards me as a patient. They talk you through all procedures by telling you exactly what they are doing and often why they are doing this. It's a nice gesture to ease patients, especially those who are dentist-phobic. Visiting Morrison Dental Group is like visiting friends, who just happen to care more about your oral health than the average Joe. read more

Do NOT use this practice. After 4 1/2 years of their care, including checkups and cleaning every 6 months, I discovered that I had 4 serious cavities and 2 cracked teeth. It took 5 visits to another dentist and more than $2000 to take care of the worst problems. read more
