Dr. Manriquez was professional, thorough, and attentive throughout the process, and his calm approach gave me confidence in the decisions being made. I also want to give special recognition to Angeles, Dr. Manriquez's assistant, and the office manager Citlali. Both were incredibly caring, patient, and attentive to detail. They consistently made sure I was comfortable, understood what was happening, and had my questions addressed. Their warmth and professionalism made a real difference during a process that can otherwise feel intimidating. What stood out most was the team's communication and willingness to take the time needed to get things right. They made me feel like a person rather than simply another appointment, and that level of care is not something to take for granted. The entire office was organized, welcoming, and responsive. By the end of the process, I felt genuinely comfortable with the care I was receiving and grateful that I had placed my trust in Dr. Manriquez, Angeles, Citlali, and the rest of the team. On the way out you pay for parking with for the allotted time you were there. The grocery store and other little stores are on the first floor and a lot of clinics/dentist offices are on the second floor. Once you get to the second floor, there'll be someone at the main door asking you to check in and that really just states your name and how many people are with you and what office you're going to. There is a staircase, and there is an elevator to get to the second floor. The office is small but very clean but unfortunately in Mexico, what happens sometimes is that the running water stops working and you cannot use the restroom since there is no water to flush the toilet. The two girls at the front are really nice and are really inviting. Feel free to ask them any questions you have. Dr Yasmin introduced herself and she was very lovely and she is the person who did my cleaning and my teeth whitening. She was very lovely as well and she kept asking me if I was OK and was very attentive. So what happens first is that the doctor will check you out and make sure that the items you requested can actually happen that day and then someone comes and gives you a quote and if you would like to continue, you sign the quote and then the work is started. It was my very first time doing a teeth whitening, and while she was doing it, it did not hurt at all, but I did experience some teeth sensitivity around an hour later. I have been a patient at Sam Dental in Tijuana for 6 years. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I live in Coronado, so getting across the border is relatively easy. I call the office after crossing the border and they send someone immediately to pick me up. I have never had to wait for a driver. I have horrendous teeth due to a medical condition, so I'm a frequent flyer at Sam Dental. I was told 6 years ago by two San Diego dentists that it would be $15,000 to fix my teeth. I needed extractions, root canals, crowns and implants. I was hesitant at first to go to a dentist in Mexico, but after the first visit I was completely satisfied with the clinic. It's clean and everyone speaks english. They sterilize all of their equipment, they wear masks and have patients use safety glasses. They explain in depth what work needs to be done and the alternatives. They use x rays to show you why and where you need work. My teeth are a work in progress. I will always need dental work until I give in to dentures. The cost at Sam Dental is a fraction of what I would have paid in San Diego. I was so happy with the work that I decided to finally get veneers for my top teeth. The difference is remarkable. I actually smile in pictures now. They are beautiful. In my book Sam Dental gets 5 Stars! I highly recommend them. read more

About 8 months ago I came to Sam Dental, to start a long treatment plan. The plan took several months to complete because I had all my upper teeth extracted, with several bone grafts, and eventually had implants and an "All on 6" bridge screwed into the implants. It took a while for everything to heal, and for the implants to be ready, but it was certainly worth the wait. I am very happy with how it feels, and how I look. My teeth look real, and as everything is screwed into my mouth, nothing flops around. It feels much more natural than the temporary dentures I had been wearing. They took very good care of me, and I want to recommend the staff very highly. I believe the name of the surgeon who put the implants in was a Dr Aaron something, but the one who worked on me the most was Dr Sergio Morales. I can't say enough good things! The clinic is very nice, and clean, and is well equipped. The new coordinator, Juanito, is great. And Sam dental is in a very nice area called Zona Rio, next to Office Depot, and is easy to find, if you drive in. Although, the first time I came, they sent a driver to pick me up at the border. Sam Dental is a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. I guess that the address here on Yelp must be a mailing address or something. Anyway, I was a little fearful of crossing the border to get dental work done, but when I talked to the representative on the phone, they calmed my fears about Tijuana. I must say that they did take very good care of me, picking me up at the border, and back and forth to my hotel. Concerning the work they did, it was wonderful. First, the dentist was very gentle, professional, and caring. I am normally very nervous about dentists, but they really helped me to feel at ease. My All-on-Six Dental Implant Experience in Tijuana…read more I want to share my experience with this clinic -- the dentists, the surgeons, and what it's really like traveling to Tijuana for all-on-six dental implants. I started this journey to finally replace broken teeth and fill in the back teeth I'd been missing for years. A family friend who works in dental tourism referred me here (he's got contacts all over Mexico if anyone needs a referral -- his site is cancunallonfour.com). After my initial consultation, we scheduled surgery to remove 14 teeth and place my implants. Dr. Leo is honestly the best -- I had some bone loss going in, but he assured me it wouldn't be an issue, and he was right. He didn't rush the bridge either; he wanted the implants to heal fully and the bone to integrate completely first. Four months later I went back to have the posts placed, and I'd healed so well we skipped temporaries and went straight to the zirconia bridge. Dr. Challi did the actual teeth, and she's truly an artist. I stayed a full week to make sure everything was perfect, and it is. They treated me with so much respect the whole way through. The clinic is at New City Medical Plaza, literally five minutes from the border, and the hotel on the other side of the plaza is excellent too -- we stayed there both trips, and the whole team was there for us every step. And I almost forgot the best part: between the surgery, the teeth, and all the time they spent with me, the total cost was about 70% less than what I'd been quoted in the US. I'd recommend X Dentistry without reservation for any dental work. I couldn't be happier -- if you're thinking about going to Tijuana, this is it!

I had a filling done here that failed within four days…read more To be clear, Barbara was excellent, she helped save my tooth and prevent a root canal. Unfortunately, the actual filling work done by the dentist was very poor. Issues I experienced: 1. The filling chipped and fell off within the first week, in three separate pieces. 2. The contact point between the repaired molar and adjacent tooth was incorrect floss passes straight through with no resistance, creating a gap that was not there before. 3. There was excess filling material left on the outside of the tooth. 4. During bite adjustment, the dentist ground down not only the filling but my actual molar and the neighboring teeth, even though the bite was still off. At this point, the tooth is worse than when I came in. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the restorative work and would not feel comfortable having this dentist perform fillings again. I hope X Dentistry reviews this case and takes appropriate action or provides additional training, as I would not want another patient to go through a similar experience.

The office is very clean and they have modern equipment and are able to perform almost anything that you need to have done in regards to dental work. I

I was initially referred to a different dentistry with an office that looked aesthetically better HOWEVER, that place ridiculously over exaggerated the work I needed on my teeth, to the point where it was almost insulting! I was relieved to have come to this clinic and have a doctor who was very honest with the work that I needed done and didn't just try to rob me of my money, like the last place! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I will for sure be back if I ever need anything else and will refer everyone I know here!

Tijuana is a blessing for those who can't afford dental works , what I meant is that if you don't…read morehave enough money to spend on some major works like full mouth restoration then this would place is for you. Prices in America is just insane . My full mouth restoration did cost me a lot but compared the one that I'll be spending if doing it in United States it is much cheaper, i mean way cheaper with the same result or much better. You'll be pleased not only with the dental work but also with the service, they treat you like a family. This dental Clinic will not disappoint you, I will post my picture of before and after after all the work is done to help you decide, they can really make you SMILE FOREVER If your safety is your concern then don't be it is safe and they can even pick you up @ the boarder. They are also located near the malls and lots of restaurants nearby.

Have a long story and will explain the tactics they use from never giving receipts , to putting temporary plastic dentures and taking picture of you :) explain why thy do that . Hidden fees , they hire cheap inexperienced practitioner and they even make sure to perform a poor job so you come back later and pay more and more and eventual you lose bones and they don't have to install the finals and how they make money . Lot of scams. Lot of agencies work for them and get a cut . Have lot to say ! Why it is not worth it for Americans to do implants in Tijuana ! Just pay half in America with 5 years insurance and top notch real doctors not burritos cooks turned dental technicians and pay later the other half by making payments but the best option is going to Europe to Turky , best doctors out there abd are pretty good and half the price in Tijuana . Remember in Tijuana they gonna charge more later and keep milking you with no good results . Don't believe the hype in YouTube and don 't believe them when they respond to your negative review they all copy and paste same lie . As for the picture they take and claim was before and after !!! lol happened to me and now just saw lot of them use it to offend themselves it is a scam . Actually it is just a plastic temporary put in your mouth and ask you to smile !!!! WTH Will update you guys. Tijuana is not for dental implants. god bless .

Exceptional care for a complex root canal re-treatment…read more After being turned away by one endodontist in the US who said my case was too complicated to treat, I found Dr. Alex at TJ Endodontics -- and I couldn't be more grateful. My case was a nightmare on paper: a failed root canal with curved, L-shaped canals, broken file instruments left inside, and a leaking crown that had been causing ongoing issues. Every specialist I consulted in the States either declined outright or quoted an outcome they weren't confident about. Dr. Alex took one look at my X-rays and , explained exactly what he was dealing with, and said he could helpo. What set him apart was his thoroughness and honesty. He didn't rush. He didn't cut corners. He was upfront that this would take significantly more time than a standard re-treatment -- and he delivered on that. The procedure is going to require two visits of 1.5 hours each, totaling 3 hours of careful, meticulous work to navigate the complex anatomy, remove the broken instruments . His patience and precision are remarkable and his state of the are equipment is a-par with any specialist in the US.

I have had Liberty Dental address extensive dental issues and have been very pleased with their professionalism and over all quality of their work. I found it worth flying down here to have work done vs paying dental insurance and getting huge bills every time in the USA. Dr. Martinez is a fantastic dentist and his assistant/hygienist Leslie is excellent as well. The office manager is amazing at translating everything for me because I speak very minimal Spanish. Overall this place is great and has saved me a lot of money on the dental work they performed for me vs. having it done back home. Thanks Liberty Dental. You guys rock!!
