This is simply 5 stars because it's the best of the bunch. I went to the other Priority Pass lounges as well as the American Airlines lounge in the Santiago airport and this one is by far the best. The food selection is far superior to the others--there were several platters of pretty decent cold cuts (including smoked salmon) and cheese, platters of small sandwiches, hot soup, salad, fruit, and an assortment of decent desserts and beverages. The attending service person kept everything fully stocked and fairly fresh. Cleanliness is also much better overall. The lounge is fairly new and brightly lit---unlike the dingy, dark atmosphere of the others. It also does not smell! The other Salon lounges I've been in had musty, smoky smells like no one had cracked a window in months. Power outlets are everywhere, but bring a converter. Wifi speeds are pretty good. Go to this lounge with your Priority Pass. It's not fair that you'd get charged the same as the others. read more

Pretty lame excuse for a Star Alliance lounge. Wouldn't trust the food, most of the drinks not cold and no ice available. Seating hoofed by sleepers. Staff wouldn't do anything. read more

This lounge is nicer than the Pacific VIP one, and is probably a better choice for those with the Priority Pass / AMEX card. Unfortunately, at this time you find me writing this review using my cell phone as a hot spot, for their Internet access is down. The Merlot is good, the food selections include Iberian ham and manchego cheese, the place is pretty clean and newish looking, and I'm going to wrap up this review before I use up my data plan. This lounge looks quite trendy when you walk in. It looks very modern but the space is fairly small compared to other lounges in the same airport (ie Admirals club and The Lounge). The food here is amazing. Fresh fruit (strawberry and pineapple), hot soup, small sandwiches, sandwich making stuff ingredients (cheese, ham), pistachio nuts, peanuts, various pastries, juices, and of course alcohol. I didn't see any 110V outlets here so you'll need to use your adapter. This place gets busy quickly so it can feel quite cramped. In addition, this place is not open 24 hours. I think it would be a little difficult for you to relax here. I recommend The Lounge to relax/nap. I recommend this place for the food. read more

Glad I only get to this lounge once a year. It is cramped and feels like someone's basement. I'm here on a Wednesday at 8:00 pm and there is no beer or wine to be had. The food selection is ok but I'm suspicious of much of it as some items are wrapped in saran wrap and I'm not sure how old it is (and don't want to find out in the middle of a 9 hour flight). This is still preferable to waiting in the main terminal but don't expect anything special. read more

Attempted to access lounge at Miami airport and an incredibly rude lady refused to grant access, and said our platinum card was not sufficient. Our card's customer service said we should have access, and when asked the reason for our non-admittance, we were told by the rude lady that the club was "at capacity" and gave us a smirk (even though other people were still accessing the club). My guess is the club was attempting to limit access to certain paying members, not those that have access through a CC. Seems like a scam and they need someone that isn't a jerk dealing with customers. read more

Best airport lounge I have been in yet. Top quality food--many lounges just serve snacks, but here you can have a salad with an assortment of fresh toppings, fresh fruit, a Cuban sandwich, and some bruschetta to top things off. They had plenty of drink options at their self serve style mini bar. Very friendly staff as well. All around great experience!! read more

I'm not a guru in terms of airport lounges, but this one seems decent to me. Had an early breakfast there, and food were good in a quiet environment. I would like to go there if I were to travel with Avianca again. read more
