He lied consistently, didn't finish the job and left 4 tons of broken concrete in the street for 2 weeks that my neighbor had to pay to remove. When it came time to pour the concrete, we found out one of his workers had to order it because the company wouldn't deal with Pudlo. Pudlo didn't have the money to pay the concrete truck. (My neighbor had to pay the concrete delivery) Pudlo said he had to spend the money on labor and materials, which was a lie because my neighbor had to pay the workers or they wouldn't have been paid. So, the stamp concrete job was unfinished, unsealed and concrete in the street, my neighbor had enough and told him to stay away. I was a witness to the lies. Example: Pudlo said he was going to return Monday to finish the job and remove the concrete waste. Never showed. My neighbor texted him to tell him she waited all day. No response. The following Friday she gets a text that he is coming to clean up. When he arrived, he said he has a truck coming to remove the concrete that was 5 minutes behind him. He loaded all his equipment in his truck, then said he can't dump the concrete today because the dump is closed. We said there's one open nearby. Then he said the dump nearby would charge him $1000. When we questioned him, he called the dump who said $30/ton. Then he said he was going to unload his truck and come back to help the dump truck. There was no dump truck. He left with all his tools.

Ultimately they suggested it could be a problem with the stones in the wall. Disciple came out, recommended a strategy of replacing a couple of stones, re-pointing the rest of the area and applying sealant over the whole section. Work was scheduled promptly. The guys were very friendly and professional. The job was finished within 10 days (mortar needed to cure before sealant could be applied) and it looks great. Now we have to wait for a horrific rainstorm to see if that solves the problem.

After a week, I called to follow up and was told I'd hear back "later that day or the next." After another week of no contact, I called back again and spoke to a man named Nathan who told me that he would follow up with me (you guessed it) "later that day or the next". Still no call or text. Very frustrating as it's raining a lot lately and we want our external stucco wall repaired before any water damage occurs. I guess maybe they don't need my business? Can't say anything about their work but this customer service experience makes me question their reliability and attention to detail. Your experience may vary, but this was mine, for what it's worth.

Matt's was one of several estimates I sought, and pricing was all over the place. Matt's bid was competitive and fair, and he demonstrated a depth of knowledge and familiarity that made me immediately comfortable hiring him. Due to scheduling conflicts with another contractor installing a deck for me, I threw Matt a few curveballs. At least twice I had to ask him to move his start date, and when his team did arrive, the deck contractors were totally in his way. Throughout, Matt was patient and focused on his work. The guys he brought with him worked tirelessly over four days to excavate, remove old materials, prepare proper drainage missing from the old wall, rebuild the wall with new EP Henry pavers and regrade the area around the new wall - as well as around my driveway. Matt and his crew went above and beyond, doing extra regrading work not included in his estimate at no additional charge. And they cleaned up the work area at the end of the job beautifully. The wall looks so good that the old, shabby brick pavers by my pool now look sad by comparison. I'll be asking Matt Burns to come back to address that issue, and others, in the future. Hire Matt with confidence. You'll be glad you did. And if you have questions or want more details just message me. I'm happy to offer my strong recommendation of Matt and his team.

Jimmy advised that the rest of the stone was in good shape. In his estimate he included repair the gaps around our windows and the door at the rear of our house. The option he recommend was the least expensive on his estimate. I appreciated Jimmy's honesty. He wasn't just out to make money. I accepted the estimate and the work started on a Friday. His masons were very professional and kept a very clean work area. My neighbors actually commented on how neat and friendly they were. They completed the work in (3) days. He seemed to be spending a lot of time down the shore in place of handling the business, admittedly by Jimmie. I would recommend not wasting your time. it's very frustrating because now my clients masonry work has been pushed back 2 months. Jimmie seems like a super nice guy but this was handled very unprofessionally.

They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks.
