They advised us on the removal of a very large Black Birch tree on our property that was developing a very deep pit at its base that was holding water. There was a fear of it falling on the house or cars. Additionally, they trimmed and pruned three very overgrown Honey Locusts and shaped and pruned our wonderful Red Maple. Lastly, they shaped a Mulberry tree and removed a Pine that had grown inside the Mulberry. It was a very big job. Sven and Jake were pleasant, amenable, and professional. They cleaned the spaces as much as possoble. I strongly endorse Tree Lion Tree Services!

We first contacted Tree Lion through Yelp after a tree fell and affected multiple neighboring…read moreproperties. Initially, they indicated they could come out on Saturday, July 4, but the estimate was ultimately confirmed for Sunday, July 5, between 11:00 am & 12:00 p.m. I was coordinating the appointment on behalf of a loved one. Because the property owner doesn't live at the affected house, they traveled from another part of the city and rearranged their schedule specifically to meet the estimator. We also learned that the neighboring property we initially believed the tree had fallen from is vacant, making it even more important to determine responsibility and move the process forward. Unfortunately, no one arrived for the scheduled appointment, and there was no phone call, text, or Yelp message to let us know they were running late or needed to reschedule. We understand that delays and emergencies happen, but a simple courtesy message would have been appreciated. The lack of communication wasted people's time and delayed addressing a situation affecting multiple properties. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend a company that confirms an appointment and then fails to show up or communicate with the customer.

There doesn't seem to be a clear directive or goal. They've been in the neighborhood for over a week now. I understand they've been hired to clear trees near power lines but what an overwhelming waste of man power, money, and time. I'm not sure if this is the right outlet to send this but I have a major complaint with your…read morecompany and its workers. I do not understand your company's inability to direct traffic when they are working on the roads. I live in the Southern Chester County PA area and I was on my way to work this morning (using 322, Rosedale Ave, 202) and your workers where cutting down trees. Which is fine, except that they have to have known that it is a major road and the exact time a day that hundreds of workers are trying to commute to their jobs. And you workers cannot even direct traffic on the one lane road correctly. They chose a lane and allowed that lane to stay open for almost 30 minutes even though there weren't any cars coming through! They then decided to finally let the lane that I was in go and they let literally 6 or 7 cars through before they closed the lane again. They even trapped several cars in the middle because none of your workers are talking to each other about where the flow of traffic is! It is absolutely unacceptable that this is happening and has continued to happen on several roads for weeks. I do not understand your worker's inability to communicate properly, and flip a sign. They should just be fired if they cannot do their jobs correctly. It does not make any sense that these problems are happening. Your company needs to make sure that the staff's working abilities are on point; especially when you're going to work on some of the busiest roads, during the busiest times of the day!
