However it's a little on the small side with just one office it shares the same space as the United Way. I've done a few Flagler College Fair's for this particular Red Cross location and it also provides an awesome ability to be a great place to volunteer for Flager College students as well. There's plenty of parking and it's located in a business park. The instructors are easy to understand and teach to the test. But you still have to know what you're doing. The skills check off is hands on to assure that you do. Having already used CPR to save a life in Jax, I was just glad to have been taught by the best here! Of course I then get hired to work in person and need the CPR certification! Since I was responsible for finding a place on my own, I came across this place. This place was close to home and they had appointments available within the week so I went for it. It is a tiny place in a tucked away plaza. I arrived earlier than my appointment time because I was unfamiliar with the location. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by Ken, who welcomed me and informed me he is the instructor. He took my ID to verify I was me and provided some information about the class. I had a fingerprint appointment to drive to later up in Gainesville and Ken assured me I would get to that appointment in time. The class started promptly on time and there were a good amount of us. There were plenty of resources and tools for us to learn and be trained properly. Like I said, I have went to an abundance of CPR classes over the years so I know what to expect. I will fast forward and say this was the BEST CPR class I ever took!! Ken was very knowledgeable, personable, and humorous. Ken also generously offered anyone to come back for refreshers at any time because honestly, it is easily to forget some of the steps if you're lucky to not use CPR. At the end, Ken printed out our CPR cards and proof we were there, as well as submitting it to the boards. We also received the CPR keychain masks! I highly recommend this place!

I took the blended…read morerenewal version meaning I did the online review & passed the written exam & then made an appointment with CardiAct CPR to check my skills. Thankfully the office location was close-by & had an opening: with only 6 openings per class they fill up quickly. Instructor/Owner Michele is serious about making her students the best possible but knows how to teach with humor to dispel the tension we all feel when faced with left-threatening situations requiring our CPR skills. I'm actually looking forward to renewing my CPR with Cardi Act CPR.
