It was an incredible start to my birthday! They were so mannerly and awesome personality for getting there at 5:30am on a Sunday you'd never know it!! We had the perfect weather and tide conditions for kayaking! They were enjoyable and knowledgable. We each took out a single. They also have doubles and other equipment for rentals. Definitely worth it!! Clearly they know what they're doing. We couldn't thank them enough. Hoping we get to go out with them again sometime soon!! The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that they break the kids into smaller groups of about eight, which helps keep things more manageable. That said, with so many kids in the gym at once, it can get a bit chaotic. The instructors rotate frequently, which makes it harder to track individual progress, but on the plus side, it means my son gets to learn from different coaching styles. The staff is on the younger side, but they bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which keeps the kids engaged. One thing I really like is how they change up the course and layout every week and focus on different themes to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, it's been a great experience, and my son always looks forward to going. A little more consistency with coaching would be nice, but if your kid is into parkour, this is a great place to train and have fun! They also offer a paid trial class and fee for open gym if you're interested in checking it out. They also have themed special events such as Fortnite Night, Minecraft, Ninja Warrior Night, etc. They also offer options for camp and focused clinics.

From the start we were met with swift response from the Team confirming the appointment. There was great communication from the owner Dustin and Wiley the instructor. Wiley was very patient took time with our son. We felt he was safe and in great hands. This was his first session and he was surfing by the third wave! Jen Daly was so good with her, teaching her all the fundamentals from the tact room, to grooming the horse, and riding the horse. Too often parents just take their kids to "ride a horse" without learning to appreciate how much goes into taking care of a horse. Charlotte learned all those things in a couple of hours, she even mucked the stall and enjoyed it. Jen had her riding Lola (a wonderfully gentle horse) within a matter of minutes and steering the horse on her own. I only wish Charlotte lived here year round so I could enroll her in ongoing lessons at Southern Pines. A very clean, well managed facility where it's clear to see how much they love and care for the horses, the property and their clients.

Great waterfront access & there is a pool. A climbing tower! I didn't explore too much- there was a leader training I was popping in to show my support for a friend who was teaching the course. She was set up in campsite 8 and unfortunately the campsites need some serious maintenance- poison ivy is overgrown in most of the sites! Fire pits have not been raked and cleaned. In my old council, our Order of the Arrow helped the Camp Rangers every year to clean up and do service around the camps. I have no idea if that is done here, but it needs some tlc. I can't wait to see more of this camp!

It has a sparling blue pool that is next to the beautiful waterfront area and dock. I saw a a chery area and even a climbing wall. The place was well kept up and the restrooms were clean. But frankly I can't figure out why they need 2 to 3 lifeguards for a pool the size of a tennis court? Seems like it would cost a fortune and they look, at a minimum, to be very bored. Since all members sign all their rights away when becoming a member, why not just add a condition to cover the swimming at your own risk part? Minors need parents present, etc but the rest of us are totally capable of handling it on our own and making the place more affordable for all!

We went to the beach at the end of the 1 mile hike and walked the beach, looking for shells, watching crabs scramble by, and enjoying the views. It is well maintained by maintenance crews, and there are several picnic benches at the beach. It was hot on the way back, but there was a restroom at the beginning of the trail and a pavilion with benches. There was plenty of parking, no crowds, and places to fish, kayak, paddle board, and boat.

The visitor's center is beautiful and interesting. Our eight year old was engaged by the exhibits and live animals. We did the yellow hike, which was perfect for a July morning. We saw tortoise and many different types of birds and enjoyed looking at crabs along the waterline. Really cool experience. I highly recommend!
