I feel oddly like Sleeping Beauty. Were there adorable fluffy deer with twin fawns like in the yelp pictures? I was pretty sure they were photoshopped, but apparently not. My massage therapist Naomi was incredible. I wish I could say that I fell asleep during the massage but actually I left more sore than when I came in.. which. was. perfect! I didn't even tell her what my profession was and she was able to tell the areas that cause me discomfort throughout the week. She targeted the areas of concern and intensely concentrated on them. I loved that she offered essential oils and there was no additional charge for them. The hot stone addition was relaxing and made me feel like a pat of butter on freshly made toast. The setting was exquisite, the massage expertise unbeatable, and the price incredibly competitive and worth every dime. Pretty sure I'll be braving the traffic to return to Oly just for these massages.

However as we got into talked the hot spots I would like to focus on, and which was odd for me as usually that's where someone would start or have you lay face down, instead it was face up. Where I feel it was like a massage envy type vibe where they don't just give you fully what you want and try to make you come back for another one. The hot towel and cupping was great however didn't seem like the person knew what they were fully doing. Lastly I know the cost of living has went up, but this was my first and last visit as no reason why someone should be paying $200+ for a massage period. I have found and had better from others in the area. Update: management did reach out in attempt to help solve future issues and provide a complimentary service.

It's Zen Outside the Chaos for a brief moment. Every time, the experience has been phenomenal. The therapists I've seen have all been attentive, professional, and truly skilled. The environment is clean, calm, and welcoming. I especially love the little touch of soaking your feet in hot water before starting. Such a great way to begin a session, and a fabulous foot massage. They're always respectful, kind, and communicative. I've shared that I've had surgeries on both my neck and lower back, and they always proceed with such care, checking in often to make sure the pressure is comfortable. One note: if you're booking any therapy service over 30 minutes, I highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time. They're getting busier (for good reason). This place has become my go to for relief and relaxation. Should I even be sharing this little piece of paradise? Hmm... maybe I should keep it a secret.
