Very professional establishment, with one seemingly minor exception, my masseur kept getting interrupted by one of the colleagues. At one point I even heard someone squeal? Like the just saw something or someone they weren't expecting? It was strange. But since my expectation for a massage establishment is a tranquil ambience, these occurrences seemed quite contrary to the goal. Still, I will definitely return here. The massage itself was perfect and at $60 an hour, in Washington, that's a deal. That's pretty much the standard 1 hr massage price for me, in Hawai'i, in Korea. It wasn't until visiting Washington, where most places charge $80 to $120 for an hour, that I stopped getting monthly massages, which my doctors have recommended but insurance doesn't cover. There are clear signs that remind patrons to not request inappropriate services. It's disappointing to me that people take advantage of Asian establishments like that. Asian masseurs, unlike others, may not ask you any questions to begin with, they just massage until they feel the tension in your body. As long as these rates continue, I'll gladly return. Though make sure the bring cash because there's an added fee if you use a card. read more

I've visited twice and the first time I got the guy. He's not about relaxation but more about loosening things up by force. I liked him, but my sister got him the next time I visited and it was harsh for her, even when she asked him to go soft. I also like the lady they gave me. Alright. Enough is enough. There is one female here who is very unprofessional and I would label her behavior as harrassment. About a year ago I had a very uncomfortable experience with an hour massage. I'm use to being covered for whatever body parts are not being serviced. During this particular service there was no covering and the female responded "very beautiful body". She was also touching me in areas that were inappropriate (in between my thighs, close to my groin). To avoid detailing too much I will fast forward to yesterday. 90 minute session. I'm greeted and taken to my room. A lady responds "you're always so beautiful" I don't think anything about It but then she touches my face with both hands. I'd like to note that I am over six feet tall so this is a very deliberate action. I pull back and she exits to room. I start my service. The service was fine. However while on my stomach the person KEPT moving my underwear down. Full coverage underwear. I repeated, no thank you, and said it's fine several times in which she chuckled. The last five minutes the same lady comes in and I remove the towel from my eyes as I am now on my back. She SWAPS with the other person. I am unsure of what was said as It was not in English. I ask where the other person went and she says "almost done". She proceeds to touch me along my legs (not a massage). It didn't dawn on me until this morning that It was same last from a year ago. I made excuses last year about language barriers and etc and honestly this it's shame on me. At first I thought I was overreacting but I now know I'm not. There's something unprofessional going on here and I will not be spending money here anymore as I am strictly looking for a massage without the extras. read more

I called the company requesting a couples massage and was able to get right in. As soon as my husband and I entered, we were greeted by two women who prompted us to get into a room to get undressed. We follow their instructions and get settled in under the sheet. One of them starts massaging my husband and starts laughing to my masseuse in their native language. I don't know what they were laughing about, but my husband goes to the gym regularly to lift weights and he is pretty muscular. I was guessing they were complaining about having to do more work on him since his muscles are very tight. The entire time, they were talking to each other and giggling as if my husband and I weren't on their massage tables. At the end of the massage, we go to check out, and the owner/manager gives one of the massage therapists an attitude because she didn't charge us correctly. As my husband and I were waiting to pay, a bank manager from a new branch went into the establishment to introduce herself to the owner. She was very nice and had informational pamphlets about the bank she managed. As soon as the bank manager tried to introduce herself, the owner/manager told her "I don't speak English" and walked away. I just want to say that my parents are of Asian descent and speak in their language all the time to each other. I have nothing against foreign languages. I do have a problem, however, getting a massage and wondering if the staff is making fun of us the ENTIRE time. First off, talking should be kept to a minimum. Secondly, you don't laugh at your clients while you are giving them a massage, especially while you are loudly talking to your co-worker in a language you know your clients don't understand. Lastly, I am glad that others have had better experiences, but I don't plan on coming back, especially with how rude they were to the bank manager and to each other. On a positive note, the prices were very affordable, and the two massage therapists did a good job on the actual massage. Despite that, however, I will not plan on returning. I value the physical benefits of massage therapy as much as stress relaxation benefits. I will go to a place that can provide both. read more

I've passed by this business several times but never checked it out. Their name isn't visible and you can't see inside because of their window graphics. I walked in without an appointment and was helped right away. The interior is clean with dim lighting. The massage rooms are clean and well organized. I received a terrific 90 minute full body massage with hot stones at the end. The masseur was thorough and spent a lot of time working on my back and shoulders where I hold a lot of tension. Soft spa music was playing but this isn't a posh spa experience. I received a therapeutic massage in a professional environment. I think of a massage as a treatment rather than a treat, so this place was a good experience for me. 90 minute massage was $90. read more

I have been going here regularly for almost the past year to alleviate chronic back and neck pain. The massage I receive from Annie, the manager, is hands down the best I have ever had. Through regular massage and other treatments, I have seen great improvements in my condition. Annie and her staff take a lot of pride in their work and try very hard to make customers feel comfortable and relaxed. My wife has also seen other massage therapists at Heaven and Earth and has always been very happy with her treatments. If you are needing a massage therapist in the Olympia area or a same day massage for an urgent issue, I would absolutely recommend trying Heaven and Earth. Prices are very standard for similar services elsewhere but always consider tipping the staff appropriately. Tips can make up a bulk of their income and they are very appreciative!!! read more

Bad ergonomics has caused my right shoulder and neck to be in pretty bad shape - I'm always stretching my neck or rotating my shoulders to alleviate discomfort and soreness. Found this spot randomly when I was visiting and got the most pain-relieving massage from Annie. I asked for a combination massage but ended up wanting 80% of the time focused on my neck and shoulders. Annie's technique is precise and fluid, and she pinpointed areas of my shoulder that was giving me the most pain. Using oil on my body, she went to work on my shoulders, neck and shoulders. After the knot in my shoulder blade area was loosened up, the pinching pain along the side of my neck was a lot better as well. Annie used hot stones afterwards and massaged my entire back with them and it was the most soothing experience. I walked out of there feeling so relaxed and knew I'd be a bit sore the day after given how much tension was released. Couldn't recommend her enough! read more

I have been pathetically delinquent in updating my review of Heaven and Earth Massage, admittedly for mostly selfish reasons. Primarily because my wife and I will find ourselves competing with fellow Yelpers for the best massage we have ever had, period, end of story. These folks are that good and they deserve big kudos for their work. They take therapeutic massage seriously and it shows. From the warm welcome you receive when entering, to the nice background music playing in each cozy room, not to mention the wonderful hot stones treatment included in every full body massage, and the hot damp towels to wipe you down as they progress around your body. Candi has been massaging me weekly since my last review in November 2020 because she is that good. Also, my wife had always enjoyed their foot massage, but then one day she decided to try the full body body massage and NEVER went back to the foot massage. The body massage was so good she was willing to pay the extra cost because it felt so much better to her. AND she too has been getting a regular full body massage for a few months now. As a result of their impressively hard work, I decided to upgrade my rating to 5 stars because they are that good. I've been to several Asian massage shops in the Olympia-Lacey area and I will say, Heaven and Earth is the best in the greater Olympia area. Why else would my wife and I spend our hard earned money for weekly massages if the masseuses weren't outstanding? Finally, one last and very important reminder. Please be generous when tipping your masseuse. Massage takes a lot of energy and most masseuses put in a lot of effort, especially for deep tissue massage, which requires some serious hand strength. Our rule of thumb is $20/hour for full body massage. And we do not hesitate to give a little more if the massage was exceptional. This Asian foot massage places apparently opened 4 months ago. I was surprised to see that no one had put anything up on Yelp yet. I've only been once (yesterday), & the lady there did an amazing job! I let her know ahead of time that I like my neck and shoulders to have extra pressure, & the rest of the body can have normal pressure. She was very attentive and did a great job. I personally love firm massages & hot water (for the foot soak). If you don't like those things, just let them know. I got the foot & body combo massage. ($45 for 1 hour). It's where they give you the normal foot massage (with scalp massage etc) but after 30 min you get to have a fancier body massage in a private room. All of the staff were wearing masks and we were never allowed to take them off during the message. I've gotten a lot of massages in my life, but Kevin (I think was his name) was one of the best masseuses ever. The massage special was $100/1hr for two people (basically $50 for an hour, which is an insane deal). I choose the 30 minute foot massage and 60 minute full body massage combo. The foot massage started with a head and scalp massage which I never had done before that was good. The foot massage itself was ok. I will compare the foot massage to that of my daughter rubbing lotion on my feet. Nothing special, but then again the reflexology foot massages I received prior to my move will be hard to beat. Next the full body massage, this too was okay. I gave this place 3 stars instead of 2 because the guy that did the massage, massaged a place on my neck and the back of my scalp that relieved some of the tension. I really wanted to give them higher. They are nice, place is clean, no funny business... BUT. When I called I was quoted $30 for 30 minutes, for 2 people. When we got there I again said, "2 people, 30 min... $30 each right? Yes, my boyfriend said he wanted his back worked on, I wanted my feet. Massages were just ok, BF was out and paid before me. Later found out they charged me $60 and him $40 which made NO sense! They claimed I got "full body". Squeezing my shoulders and putting a towel over my face does NOT make it full body! SO shady on their part. Respectfully, "mis-understanding" because your English is not good (and still up charging) is NO excuse! I went out of my way to be clear, and was quoted a clear price, twice! Massage was exceptional! The problem is that she complains about small tips. I paid $218.00 for 90 minutes for a couple. This price includes $8 for using a debit card and a $30 tip. I took off three stars because she made a complaint that our tip was too small for a 90-minute massage and a $10 tip per person was not common. Her comment that "Other people tip $30 each person." made me think twice about tipping at all. I wanted to walk out without tipping and just paying for the service but it wouldn't be fair to the guy who did a great job with me. She kept talking to my husband and he couldn't relax at all, but then she freaks out about a small tip? I don't know if the massage is worth coming back for. It just made a first time experience horrible for us on Valentine's Day!! I don't think you should come here if you're on a tight budget.
