Colette's Bed and Breakfast - Entrance to the Lavender Room

This is an amazing Bed &Breakfast! The best we've been to, and we're no strangers to B &B's. At…read moreColette's you will get a true B&B experience--from the pristine and romantic suites to the full gourmet breakfasts to all the added touches. I can't say it enough, this is one inn you dont want to skip if you're even on the Olympic Peninsula. and wonderful staff will have you feeling like a VIP. The common area is beautifully and stylishly furnished. They will supply you with clean, warm blankets to snuggle up to as you sit by the fire pit for Happy hour, which takes place every afternoon. The breakfasts are very tasty, and it's clear that great pride goes into their preparation and presentation! And might I say the garden area overlooking the sea is a slice of paradise. The grounds are lush and private enough that you're not running into other guests very often. The hubby and I loved the Lavender suite, which has a great view of the garden and sea. The bath was spacious and upscale as well. If you need ideas and suggestions for how to explore Olympic National Park, just ask. You won't be disappointed with the recommendations you receive. Yes, you will pay more than you might at a local hotel. But the experience here at Colette's makes it worth every penny. Don't ever change!

Truly beautiful place, right on the water. The landscaping is exquisite, and the rooms are very…read morecomfortable. The service was great as well. Would have gotten 5 stars except for the following; 1. Each time you come or go you have to get out of your car and manually open/close the gate. For what they charge for rooms they should have an electric gate and give people the code. 2. Breakfast is only served at 9AM, and often you want to get out early to beat the crowds to hiking/scenic places. 3. The ice machine has been broken for quite some time, so if you want ice later in the evening you need to hope the house manager is around. Otherwise it is a wonderful place to stay.

Very uncomfortable experience, the space is cold and the service from the hosts is even colder. If…read moreyour religious this might be the place for you lots of religious reading materials laying around, oddly liberty bells. Coffee is basically Keurig machine even though the hosts brags and sells thier own roasted coffee. The front host/attendant basically uses the front lobby as an office so you will hear them on the phone and zoom/conference calls. Don't try and get any reading or work done in the main room while your staying. If thirsty you are provided two bottles of water in your fridge for a two day visit. Otherwise you can drink faucet water from your bathroom. Also no ice machines or microwaves unless maybe your a vip? Hosts either live in the basement or the attic.. and you might have a preacher living in the white barn by the front gate. No walking access outside the property.. Showers are the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel.. the beds are stiff as a board and the pillows are weirdly over sized.. sheets were awful also.. As for the food could of been a saving grace.. expect every dish is basically sugar... They offer maple syrup but there are so cheap you can tell it's just high fructose corn syrup with coloring.. Hope this saves someones money from this awkward social experience..

I visited again on July 31st and was shocked to see a Trump flag flying prominently in front of the hotel. The flag really takes away from the beauty of this place. I will not be returning nor will I stay at this hotel in the future.

Unit was clean, nicely appointed, and as a bonus had a great TV lounge and private patio outside in the backyard (great for happy hours). They have several units to choose from, but we chose the "Perch", which was the largest. It didn't disappoint! We didn't even use half the space! Currently, check-in is anytime after 2:00pm. We checked ourselves in and upon entering, found a spacious "home"! Divided by a set of stairs, there is a murphy bed (sleeps 2), bath & shower, dining area and full kitchen to the left. On the dining table was a lovely note addressed to us by the hosts Craig & Michelle, accompanied by a bottle of wine and a bowl of granola bars. Then, in the refrigerator, there was a nicely adjourned box nestled with yogurts, orange juice, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, a small bottle of Prosecco (for mimosas) and chocolate! We turned around and on the kitchen counter was a plate of local pastries! In the room on the other side of the stairs is another bedroom (sleeping 2-3), king bed, full bath and sitting area with coffee maker and coffee pods. Downstairs by the front door is a living room with TV, comfy couch & chair, wet bar, small fridge and washer/dryer! As everyone knows, with a home or business, there will always be times of repair and/or construction. Currently, the upper deck is being repaired, so we weren't able to take advantage of that. Instead, we took a long walk along the water, watched the eagles soar overhead, waved at people passing by and enjoyed the fresh sea air! Eating at local restaurants is always a plus and enjoying wine in the evenings watching the sun lower gently on the horizon out of sight made this trip, along with our fabulous hosts, Craig & Michelle, all worthwhile. Thank you for making our local getaway a special one!

The town of Squeim was great too. Lots of great places to eat in a small town feel. Creekside Haven is a dream. Each room with it's own full bath and each with its own unique personality.
