Flathead Civiche was delicious, Brussels Sprouts were super tasty, and we also enjoyed the twice cooked Pork Belly. Not so good was the Pato Ahumado. The mole was really tasty but not enough, and the breast was really tough and fatty, plus no proper cutlery provided. Really disappointing, as we couldn't eat or enjoy it and it was like we just threw $72 away. While I did appreciate their coursing, we did wait for long periods between. Cocktails were good, as was a glass of wine, but pours are very light. Recommended, for sure. Avoid the duck.

The food its self was quite nice. Mild Peri Peri is bloody hot! So I'd hate to see was extreme is. My burger was 2 tenderloins on a wholemeal roll with lettuce and tomato with lemon and herb sauce with a truck load of chips that could feed a small army and a small sprite. It was nice to have the option to have it take away or eat in on actual plates. Would I eat it again? Yeah maybe in another 8 years time since it took me that long to try it lol.

Before we even order water and corn chips with a spicy dip is brought to the table. We are celebrating a belated birthday with a gift voucher. As this is a new restaurant there is a promotional period and we are fortunate to tap into it. Nevertheless the waitress and the owner are happy to treat us to their best. This is not just the food but the service and the little touches that encourage people to come back. The starters is quite large, share between two or even more. The main meals are huge and we had to ask for a doggy bag as they were so good and we couldn't just leave them. We had coffee at the end of the meal...ok it was lunchtime...a glass of wine or a Mexican beer would have been nice...but we were driving and the weather was terrible. Let's be safe this time!
