Most recently i placed an order for a 12:00pm pick up and when i came at 12:05pm not only was it not ready but they never even started it! The employee said it will be a few minutes. Several other customers were waiting and no one was bringing out their orders as well. Food from the kitchen was only brought out to customers who were dinning in. I never received my order until 12:45pm. I would come here more often but due to the long waits I probably won't be coming back unless I choose to dine in and i'm not pressed for time. The food however is delicious with lots of gluten free options. You can choose from 3 sizes of bowls: Junior, regular, and large. The base can be white or brown rice and for an up-charge noodles or all veggies. Protein options are chicken, steak, salmon or tofu. The Spicy tofu which indeed was VERY spicy!! The tofu was perfected fried and coated with just the right amount of sauce. I loved how fluffy and sticky the rice was but i wish there were more veggies. I only received one slice of zucchini, no carrots...only broccoli and cabbage. Food gets 4,5 stars but service gets 2/2.5 because of the extremely long waits. Defeats the purpose of doing an online order for a fast and easy pickup.

We went in for lunch and were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful. My companion and I each chose the beyond burger which of course comes on a gluten free bun. The burger had lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and mayo. It was delicious. I've had beyond burgers before but this was the first time I was able to have one on a bun, which was a real treat. The place has a lot of baked goods, such as bread, donuts, cookies, pies and cakes. They even make birthday cakes and wedding cakes. I felt like a kid in a candy store, knowing I could eat anything there. If you don't do gluten and are in the area, I highly recommend that you check the place out. Note: you will see signs on the door stating that you are not allowed to bring in any outside food for fear of contamination. That shows how serious they are in providing a safe environment for those who can't do gluten.

Sure, it's a filled donut...but there's so much more to it -- especially the lemon curd filled ones! Finally, last year I stumbled upon Gluten Free Specialties and that I could order them online and ship them to CT GAME CHANGER! I've ordered their lemon curd filled paczkis two years in a row and they are THE. BEST. THING! I set a Google Alert (and regularly check their social media at the end of January) just to make sure I don't miss opening day and then I order IMMEDIATELY! If you live in Michigan (good for you) because you should go here! If you don't, then order something from them online ASAP!

I was pleasantly surprised that the Poe theme is clever and subtle rather than overly cheesy. The décor has more of an antique bookstore feel, with fun Poe inspired names throughout the menu. Despite the theme, there's nothing dark or dreary about this place. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service was prompt. Our waiter was friendly and had some great recommendations. The soup sampler was easily the highlight for me. I've never seen anything like it before! I tried the baja chicken enchilada, mushroom with brie cheese, beef chili with beans, and the special of the month potato curry. I ranked them from favorite to least favorite, but honestly, everything was delicious in its own way. My drink and sandwich with a side of potato salad was very tasty! I finished the whole thing! If you're a Poe fan, the witty menu names will definitely make you smile. The food is good, portions are satisfying, and the prices are reasonable. I'd absolutely come back if I'm ever in the area again to try more of the menu.

I take the pain…read more --- From Wikipedia: Strozzapreti (Italian: [strttsaprti]; lit. 'priest choker' or 'priest strangler' are hand-made pasta shape, similar to cavatelli, though longer. The name is also used for a baked cheese and vegetable dumpling, prepared in some regions of Italy. Etymology There are several legends to explain the name, primarily based on the anticlerical sentiment of the region. One is that gluttonous priests were so enthralled by the savory pasta that they ate too quickly and choked themselves. Another explanation involves the azdora ('housewife' in the Romagna dialect), who "chokes" the dough strips to make the strozzapreti. The azdora would express rage (perhaps triggered by the misery and difficulties of her life) and curse the local clergy, resulting in a pasta that could choke a priest. A third states that wives would customarily make the pasta for churchmen as partial payment for land rents (in Romagna, the Catholic Church had extensive land properties rented to farmers), and their husbands would be angered enough by the venal priests eating their wives' food to wish the priests would choke as they stuffed their mouths with it. The name surely reflects the diffuse anticlericalism of the people of Romagna and Tuscany. --- Had this pasta for the first time al funghi at a friend's wedding in Italy which cost me a fortune between airfare and suits but Bigalora does a great meat based version. I'd suggest they add a funghi option as well and I'm going to be so bold as to say that since they are making the pasta in house...please sell us bags! I never thought I'd eat this again after enjoying these yummy noodles without buying another suit, a plane ticket, and whatever it costs to renew my passport. Highly recommended! The other stuff is great too!

The food was also good, we had the deviled eggs, Jamaican Jerk wings, Full Measure lamb burger, short ribs, and the perch. The pickled garlic and onions complemented everything so well. For the sliders, we tried the wagyu, fried green tomato, and halloumi. The halloumi was a standout and such a refreshing change from the usual slider options. The fries were fresh, crispy, and yummy, too. We also sampled a few beers and the agave spirit. The spirit was strong at first but mellowed nicely as the ice melted. The ginger wheat beer was delicious, and the rye beer really stood out. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and we loved that everything is made to order. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was chill, and the decor is definitely a vibe. Overall, a great spot for good food, interesting drinks, and a laid-back experience. Definitely worth a visit!
