Me and my family love Mexican food. If you don't see us in a Chinese restaurant, you'll find us in a Mexican one. There are many Mexican restaurants around here. This place is so close to our house. So we didnt need to think twice of where to go. We ordered our favorite items: fajitas and tacos. The steak fajitas were great! We liked the meat cut in wider strips. They were very tender, juicy, and nicely grilled. The fish tacos were also delicious. The fish strips were chunky and tasty. We really liked the generous portion sizes. We were not able to finish everything, so we took home the leftovers for another meal! The service was good. The place was quite busy on a Sunday night. Everyone seemed to have a good time enjoying their food and the lively vibe. We'll come back to try the other items. If you like local, home-style dining, come check this out!

Truly, a neighborhood gem! The food quality and taste are so good at an amazingly reasonable value. Sunday is all day happy hour if you want to check out. I got the sampler platter, which lasted me three meals. It's always packed, which speaks to how good the food and service are.

Came to this place on a whim for takeout when I drove by it and saw it. The hostess was friendly and the service was quick. We ordered the birria tacos which were delicious and they did not skimp on the meat. The enchiladas were very good, a tad spicy, but tasty. The rice and beans were also good. Our food was packaged with salsa, chips, and black bean dip. On a Tuesday evening, the place was busy but there were dinner tables available. Will definitely be coming back to try a cocktail and another dish.

Return visit after too long absence. In the mood for Tex-Mex so we got two dinner plates. Plenty of food so we got leftovers out it. Popular with friends and family on Sun lunch.

The restaurant is run super efficiently, but it is also very popular. This was our first time here, so it was surprising that it took longer to get our table than it did to get drinks, order, and get food. The salsa is excellent. Not mushy cooked salsa, it is thin with pieces of onion, cilantro, etc.... We loved the flavor, but there's definitely plenty of onion. Husband ordered a frozen margarita which he said was "limey and lush" with the perfect amount of salt. On our Deluxe Carne Asada and Carnitas plates, the meat was the star of the show. Beans, tortillas, rice, guac, cheese enchilada, and pico were all good, but the pork and beef were excellent. The marinade used on the carnitas left bright citrus hues. The asada was tender. The sopapilla was the most buttery tasting sopapilla I've ever had. The custom tables and chairs reflect the pride taken in having a nice space. The mural on the dining room wall is a lovely, bright focal point.

We finally got a table after about a 25 minute wait. We ordered the pork carnitas. The meat came in sizable chunks. Some pieces had a little fat, but most were pretty lean. They were all very tender and crispy on the outside. We also ordered a street taco dinner plate, which came with three tacos with proteins of our choice. We decided to go for a combination of beef, chicken, and pork. They were all delicious, but we liked the pork the most. It was moist and tender. We concluded the meal with some puffy sopaipillas. They were really good too! Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We enjoyed both the food and the service, and the lively vibe as well. We'll definitely come back. But next time we'll try to get there a little earlier to avoid the long wait.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

Every order is served on a little tray with chopped onion and cilantro on the side along with a little cup of charro beans. Very bad experience. Ordered togo for my family figuring I had plenty of time to get home before…read morethey arrived. I had written down the order details of what everyone wanted so as to not make a mistake. When ordering, the service person kept repeating back something different from what I was saying. There was a line forming and I couldn't make him take the order faster. When ordering large amounts of food I price out the approx total plus sales tax of that city. The person at the register said that I owed $15 more than the figure I had approximated. When I asked for them to clear the order and put it in again, they became quite nasty about having to do it again. After another employee came and cleared out the order, and it was reentered into the register it had dropped down to being $4 over my estimate. I went ahead and paid just to get my food and go. They said that they were out of receipt paper for the register so I didn't get one. The place was packed so I stood off to the side and waited. And waited. The tables were constantly filled with trash left on them and scattered across the floor. A person would come out from back and remove the trash from the tables, but then wipe them with a dirty looking towel. The floor was never addressed. After 35 minutes I inquired about my order. They said that since it was a big order it was taking time to fill. I went back to waiting. Several Hispanic families that ordered after I had placed my order had gotten their food and were either finishing up or had already left. Must of their food was the same as what I had ordered. After two more inquiries about my order, it was finally delivered after waiting for over an hour. Although I am not totally fluent in Spanish, I know enough when people are talking about me and not in a favorable way. Got home after everyone else had arrived and began sorting out the individual orders. Out of 6 orders, 5 were either wrong or were missing an item. I don't know which was worse, the food being cold, the items swimming in grease (which had congealed), or the burnt and/or gristle rich tortillas and meats. I thought that this place would be great after several people who go there regularly had recommended it, but this was a waste of money and a disaster of food quality. Never again.
