I've raved about this place so much that my mom and sisters have also been coming here for the past two years. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. Luis Jr will even let you know if it's worth it to repair your shoe or buy a new one. He has worked on my leather boots, suede shoes/boots, leather sandals and man made sandals. The work speaks for itself. Just take a look at the recent repair job they performed on my suede shoes and see for yourself. Edward's is super reliable, can repair and make even the worst looking worn shoes and boots brand new. They took a friends favorite pair of boots back from the dead to make them look like they came out of the box for the first time. They don't only work on shoes! They work on watches, belts and other basic items. They have a can do attitude and are up to almost any challenge. Brought them a new bullet resistant vest carrier hitch needed holes made to hold a badge. It was critical that this be done correctly as any tear to he material could result in the vest carrier not helping the vest offer proper protection in stopping a bullet or knife. They did a perfect job and it looked like it came that way from the factory. I would highly recommend Edward's as they are being a neighborhood gem! They offer good prices, great service and are reliable. Worth a trip from anywhere if you want it done right.

When I first walked in, I explicitly explained that I wanted to know the cost of making a key copy. He said sure and took my key to see if he had the key blank to make a copy. He brought it over to a whole cabinet of key blanks and he didn't seem sure that the key blank would work. He put both keys in the machine and we asked again how much it was going to be. He then said $15.00 and we immediately said no, thank you. Then, he was like "Okay, I'll give it to you for $12.00." When we were still like no, that's okay, he was like well I already started cutting it (we saw him just put the keys in the machine and did not start cutting it) and we were like no, we are going elsewhere. He was like well a locksmith is going to charge you more. We're like okay, no thank you and got back our key and left. It was annoying that we explicitly asked how much it was going to be and he ignored our question and was shady about it.

I found him thanks to Yelp, and noticed he was local to my home and quickly reached out regarding my unfavorable damage to my vintage LV wallet. This 2004 coin purse wallet combo has seen better days, and when my wallet was rejected for repairs from the original source, I didn't want to give up on it. Paul asked me to send pictures of the damages so he could quote me properly due to the amount of work involved. We agreed on a price and even the amount I had to leave for deposit wasn't an issue. He wanted to make sure that I would trust his judgement and value his work. Paul said to give him a week and he delivered it to me in 5 days time! Be sure to always ask him what the store hours are, as he unfortunately is experiencing flood damages to his work space. How he was still able to fix this wallet for me in such dire conditions, I'll never know. He's chatty and friendly, and could use more foot traffic as this kind of work is clearly dying in the industry. He seamless repaired my coin purse compartment that kept leaking coins all over my bag, as well as the bills compartment that was fatigued. The work is perfect; beat that 5th ave! If you have a beloved leather good or wallet like me, be sure to reach out to Paul. I know that I will have this wallet for many more years to come!
