I've ordered carry out and delivery from Sal's several times and after 20+ years in Kenosha, this is officially my favorite pizza in the area. The prices are reasonable, the toppings are generous, and most importantly, it just tastes really, really good. They are always friendly when I stop in to pick up orders and deliveries come in a reasonable amount of time. My only caution would be that the thin crust pizza might be slightly thicker than you expect. I highly recommend this place! read more

Apparently this little pizza place has been open a year already. We just stumbled upon it when going to Chester Electronics. The woman that works at Chester's Electronics had said to try it, that it was pretty good. We ordered the Sal's stuffed pizza and it was fantastic! They make their own sauce and it just oozes mozzarella cheese! Also very generous with the other ingredients. Inexpensive too! A large is only $19.80. I was completely stuffed on one slice!! This was the second time that we ordered from them and the stuffed pizza takes about 1/2 hr. We can't wait to try their other pizzas! read more

Was horribly disappointed and a bit disgusted. The cheese is just piled on, easily thicker than the crust. Cheese slides off when you try to take a slice, and then when it cools it becomes a revolting chewy, rubbery mess in your mouth. There was almost no sauce on our pizza, and despite paying almost $2 for basil on top there were no more than 4 basil leaves on the entire (largest size) thing. I was so disgusted that I wasn't able to eat more than a few slices. read more

Tried Sal's for the first time this past Sunday. Ordered a large thin crust cheese, sausage and pepperoni pizza. I was told this place was pretty good... and I wasn't disappointed. Really like this place! Always seem to forget it though when thinking of pizza in Kenosha. So many choices! But they have been in business for over a year now and serve up some of the best crust in the city. They have some special braided crust thing going on there that is unbeatable! It's soft and has a hint of garlic and Parmesan on it and just adds to the quality of the pizza. Great ingredients from the sausage to the cheese and everything in between. We ordered from Sal's for a luncheon at work. We try to choose local places to order from and the majority of the reviews were good so we thought we would give it a try. We ordered 2 mediums and one small pizza, a meat lovers, cheese and Italian beef respectively. They were all amazing! Our staff was so delighted and excited about the delicious lunch and we were just thrilled at how delicious the pizzas were. The cheese pizza really stood out, which just shows that their basic ingredients are of great quality! My credit card slip got left behind at the store, so the delivery driver called the owner who offered to email it to me if I needed it for my records. Not bad pizza BUT it's not a classic thin crust in the tradition of what I grew up with in Kenosha. Meat, cheese and sauce are tasty, but the crust is more of a bread dough that a crispy crust I was expecting. The out crust is fancy schmancy braided bread.
