The delicately feminine silk, knit and lace clothes are hung beautifully alongside a number of jewellery pieces and bags. My favourite touch however, are the handwritten price tags "one hundred and twenty five pounds", so simple but so unlike all other shops. As you can guess Pussy Willow is not cheap, but it is beautiful, as for the little dachshund curled up on a cushion, that is enough to make anyone's heart melt.

They have a great little collection of items from the home ware collection - coasters, table mats, candles and candle holders. The jewellery is costume jewellery, fun chunky necklaces and little bracelets and earrings. The clothes are just a selection again but I must say they do choose a good selection of dresses, cardigans and skirts.

I could see the logic in Accessorize, Tie Rack, even TM Lewin, but an actual, proper, honest to goodness clothes shop? Hmm. Oh me of little faith. I'm sure I'm not the only person who hoves through Waterloo not so much as a shortcut, but as a stop off on the way from tube or train to bus or taxi home. There, the siren call of shiny things is guaranteed to lure me in. There's a heavy emphasis on party wear that I've never been quite able to work out. I mean, if you're catching a train to a party, you're either wearing what you're going in, or taking it with you, aren't you? The only time the store can (and does) irritate is if you've got three or four people in there with large suitcases. I once asked the security guard if he would watch my case while I just went the other side of a rail (constantly in his full view, I just didn't want to block the aisle!), and was met with a basilisk stare and silence. I took that as a no. By sharp contrast, the till and floor staff are some of the nicest you'll find in a Monsoon anywhere.

This store is a bit higher end, more professional wear, less of the hipstery cheap stuff. It's extremely well put together, the staff are nice, it's organized and not a total hot mess like other locations (ahem, Oxford Street, all of them), no ques for changing rooms. Open 12-6 Sundays. Weekends at 1 New Change are where it's AT. It was downright pleasant and I scored a few nice pieces to boot...!

Still, the Topshop here stocks a big enough range of women's clothing, denim lingerie, accessories and the petite and tall ranges too. You won't find any concessions here. For that, you'll have to go to the Oxford Circus store, although you can find some vintage at the High Street Kensington branch as well. Anyway, despite its small size, this place still looks bright and spacious and not at all untidy. The changing rooms were impressively big. There're even couches outside for people to wait. I find Topshop staff are generally nice and friendly. I tend to joke with cashiers about my purchases. This time, it was about how I'd probably regret buying an Americana crop top. The cashier started off by telling me I could return it, and then confessed she loved that print as well and how the flagship store had loads of these if I wanted more. Always nice to find a kindred soul!

Like a lot of shops on Walworth Road, this is a cheap (price and quality) clothing shop with a lot of slightly tasteless, slightly skimpy, stretchy outfits. A good selection of cheap shoes included along with some man made material basics. The one thing that makes this store stand out from its ubiquitously similar neighbors is the staff. They're not unfriendly or anything, but there are a lot of them. Or so I sensed. And, they just seem to stand there and look around at we shoppers like we were fish in a bowl swimming around, lah-dee-dah. It's almost unnerving, but not quite. I bet they do a good job catching shoplifters. The store does have some fashionable, cheap stuff, so it's not a total loss. Just average really.

Monsoon is lovely for a special occassion when you need some fab dress but I wouldn't get my entire wardrobe there and their sizes are just coming up big. I usually like to wander inside the shops, looking at the displays and every now and them, indulging myself with a guilty pleasure, so when I visited this branch with my family, I was expecting more of the same: lovely things and attentive customer service. The thing with this one Oliver Bonas in particular is the customer service. When I have visited some of the other shops, everyone seems happy to help, but not here! There were 3 members of staff in sight, two chatting behind the till in another language and one running around counting the displays. No greetings, no acknowledge of us or the other customer, who seemed very interested in the jewellery cabinet and was trying to gain their attention. We didn't really need anything, we were merely browsing, killing time, but we left very disappointed with the staff. A simple hello would have been nice!

I browsed for a good 20mins while waiting for a friend, and could easily have bought half the shop! I restrained myself though, and bought just a pair of oversize black butterfly earrings. They are easily my favourite bit of junk jewellery I've bought all year! :D Must not come back for a while - but if I win the lottery.... ;)

Accessories range from jewellery to shoes, which are all found at the back of the store near the plush velvet curtained changing rooms. Gifts are found at the front of the store and at the till, which include a variety of interesting books, cards, wrapping paper, lights, mugs, piggy banks and other fanciful items. I'm sure you can find a present for almost everyone in your life from this store! Heard that the chain went into administration late last year, but luckily they were bought out as I love this place!

This is a rather handy shop selling unusual clothing at low prices. They also have a good selection…read moreof cards and wrapping paper and various other bits and pieces you might need at short notice when you don't have time to travel to a big shopping centre. Staff try to help you without being overbearing and they all seem to like one another, which makes for an upbeat atmosphere in the shop.
