SalonCentric is a place to buy stuff for the professional salon, over 120 brands in categories like hair, skin, nails and I'm so happy to found some really good deals . The staff here are such super friendly and helpful. I know from experience that some Salon Centric's are very off putting due to the customer service. I will recommend this place over the others. To go to a Salon Centric, you must be a licensed cosmetologist of some degree. This place is not open to the public. A lot of parking in the font! . read more

My first time at this location and it was great! I usually go to the Arcadia one, but that location didn't have what I needed in stock. Since I was in OC I decided to check this location and they had both products in stock. I placed my order online for pick up and received the notification that it was ready the next morning. There's plenty of parking, I was greeted as soon as I walked in by both associates. They were both very nice. I told one of them I had a pick up order, she checked my confirmation #, and handed me my products. It was such an easy process. The store seems to be fully stocked with a little bit of everything. read more

I recently visited and was warmly welcomed by Jessica, who was incredibly helpful. She also signed me up for the rewards program, which I hadn't realized I could join. Jessica directed me to some fantastic products and informed me about the current deals. She answered all my questions and was a great help, all while smiling. read more

Came into the store today Saturday, March 7. Usually employees are very nice, helpful. Today the girl was too busy texting to help or acknowledge i was in the store after I asked for help. I needed several things, but since the employee was inconvenienced and doesn't care about bringing in revenue or doing her job, I didnt buy anything and walked out. read more

They get my online order wrong every time! When I order from the app, and go in 4.5 hours later, they don't have it ready. They always forget something that is on my order. This time it was Reynolds 711 foils so I had to go back in to purchase I'll attach a pic of my order because the girl working said it wasn't on the list. Also every time I order pravana express toners in violet, they give me the direct dye violet. Every time! I only go here because it's close but I prefer the cypress location. read more

Came here on a Saturday and door was locked. Written sign says "Be back in 30." However no note about when that 30 minute started or when they'd actually be back.. I thought lunch ended after 1pm but apparently not.. read more

Jen was super helpful today! She helped me find everything I needed and had such a kind and positive energy!!

Go here to buy color and products all the time. Today I came with my 4 years old son to pick up some color and he needed to use the restroom and sadly the front desk girl said no. How can you say no to 4 years old who is in need to use the restroom? So upset... I left 3 stars just because other girls are nice. Today is 0 star read more

This was my first time visiting this location. I was greeted by Joanne who was super friendly and complimented my 'ugly holiday sweater.' LOL. This is a smaller store format but if you are a licensed professional they will likely have all of your haircare needs. As a manufacturer I always like going into SalonCentric locations because they pride themselves on knowing the products and benefits. My overall experience was on point and I found the staff to be very helpful. For makeup aficionados, they have a nice selection of Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, which are really well reviewed - BUT, what they really need are spot mirrors and renowned vanity mirrors to apply said makeup (working on that!) read more

Always such a friendly staff and great service. Thank you for all the years of supporting us behind the chair. And give me a free education even when we don't deserve it. Thank you again. Also shout out to Jocelyn for her pleasant bubbly way of customer service. She's a kook, and I think we love her that way. Thanks again Team! read more

I've always chosen Salon Centric for my hair product needs. I always order online for the convenience. However, lately I've been more than disappointed with them. They have shorted my order more than once. I've tried contacting them through email about 5 times and not one email has been answered. I've called customer service to report the shortage and explained I don't need the color without the developer. Their response is to send the color back, or place another order for the color and pay another $11.95 for shipping. This is not the way to do business and treat your customers. I'd also like to add that my credit card is always charged $1-2 more than my order total at time of purchase. I would assume this is happening to more customers than myself. If you place an online order compare your order total to the total amount of money coming from your credit card. It might seem like a small amount, and I've let it go. But, if it's happening to every online order, that $1-$2 is turning into thousands or more. personally I'm finished ordering online with salon centric. I can no longer trust them. read more

I absolutely love coming in to this location, The girls are also helpful and sweet. Brandi was amazing! Took the time to help me find exactly what I needed. I absolutely recommend this location to everyone! Karina is also great. They all are over there read more

I have been to many salon centric stores and this is my favorite! Jazzy, the manager remembers everyone by name, salon etc. she takes the time to answer your questions or even just to ask how everything's going. Ive been here twice. The staff here is not wlecoming or helpful at all. Not sure if i will shop here again.

Never going here again! Why do businesses make it hard to give them money? While doing my usual shopping here I was informed I would not be able to checkout without downloading an "app" on my phone. They informed everyone in line that cards are no longer used and they cannot find my account number( ive been a client there for 20 years when it was Maley's) No help from the girls there looking up my name, phone, or email. So this means I always have to bring my phone inside, and need to only use the app to pay! What happened to the days of just popping in and getting a few items and paying cash/// Why do they make it hard to give them money? Cosmoprof here I come.... read more

This location is one of my favorites! These girls are amazing here and I was in today during the crazy holiday sale, and they kept their cool EVEN WITH ALL THE CRAZINESS! My cashier was Kaitlin, and she had 3 customers that came in together who literally bought a whole beauty supply. As we were all annoyed because it was taking so long, she was able to keep her cool and be super sweet. I don't know the other girls name but she used to work at my other favorite store (the one on South Plaza Drive) and she is amazing as well! Love this Salon Centric! I've gone to others and the service is never as good. I feel like the girls here are always super knowledgeable about every single one of their products. Just stopped by and Jazzy helped me today, really took the time to listen to my needs and the results I was wanting and recommended a line that I can't wait to try. It already has such great reviews! I like that this place is organized and never usually out of stock on products- and if they are, they definitely know when they're going to re-up and will let you know to come back. read more

It's salon centric ‍ Jo is always really nice and everything is easy to find. They always have some kind of sale going on as well!

It's one thing to be proud of your job, it's another to be snobby. I appreciate you (manager?) acknowledging the rules with me as a student holder. Check my history and check the items I purchased today, did I break any rules? Never. Don't act like a cosmo snob, thank you very much. And yes, when I become licensed, I will ensure your system is updated. Common sense, I thought. read more

I LOVE this store!!! I work in Orange but live in HB and choose to frequent this locale. Each time I walk through the door there's always a sweet greeting!! Ya have to be a complete grump not to love that. Management is so helpful, Brittany always reminds me of my product specials, how she remembers I don't know but I really appreciate the extra caring touch. All the girls give me a heads up on what's new also. The store is small and very full of product but they keep it organized, neat and clean. I've witnessed some pretty rude clients while checking out and I don't think I'd keep my cool like these girls do. The employees at this store are always very helpful and so friendly. I prefer salon centric over cosmoprof because of the employees. I've never been disappointed with any of their products recommendations, all are very knowledgeable. read more

The girls who work here are very un happy and rude . No greetings , when I come in . Then had to search high and low to find someone to check me out as I stood by the register for a few minutes. Cashier 662561 (Dark hair, tattoos, glasses) could not have made our experience any worse. I came in with my girlfriend, hair stylist and saloncentric customer of 10 years, and was treated as if we were thieves. As she browsed the store I was on my cell phone and "lost" her (tiny store but im a guy and this is saloncentric). I was then asked in a NON polite manner if I needed help. When I said I was looking for my girlfriend, dark hair went and literally guarded the front door. (had to open door for another customer trying to get in) We then looked for another product and was rudely asked if we were all set. After inquiring where the other product would be, she answered rudely, again, and then we went to pay. After ringing us up she asked "oh you're using card, i'll have to activate the card reader" all whilst sighing. We feel as if we were treated incredibly poorly and will not be coming back to this location. read more

DO NOT GO GET YOUR SUPPLIES HERE! Unless your absolutely desperate go to Long Beach location. What a difference in service! This was my second visit at this location. My first visit the service was horrible by the manager. I gave it another chance only because I was in the area, I got the same crappy attitude service from the same woman who happens to be the manager. Funny enough, the other employee working next to her had the same attitude as her manager. Goes to show managers reflection of service to her peers. Both ladies were Caucasian young and unprofessional. The store my last two visit was a mess! Couldn't walk down the aisles and very unorganized stock all over the floors! I even asked to use the ladies room and when I walked to the back I almost fell over so much stock and junk on the floor. Big difference from Long Beach location. Never will I visit this location in Huntington Beach. I finally said something to manager in front of her peers without making a scene. I kindly let her know her service was unappreciated. read more
