I would recommend Kia, the was the beautiful young stylist who did my ombre color and highlights, she was very professional and gentle when doing my waxing services. I was very impressed with her scalp massage skills as well, in the shampoo bowl... Overall this place is amazing, I would recommend it to anyone who needs pampering on a budget, who has plenty of time to spend on themselves. Overall, I had my hair colored with amazing ombre technique, additional foils placed, a color gloss treatment and eyebrow arch. I was there from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. I will be returning for additional services. This place was not crowded with rude students like other beauty schools in AA, and their prices were at least half of the other schools... Very Impressive for the high quality products used and spectacular results. The students and educators want to be sure you are satisfied through the whole process. Great color job. The location is very convenient for other campus buildings and there is food and Starbucks available inside. I often sit in the Winter Garden because it is most accessible, but there is a lot of hidden spots if you time some time to explore.

I learned more in the 3 months attending this school than I did in the entire year at my previous school. I transferred into this school stressed and depressed from my previous school's toxic staff and environment, simply wanting to complete my 1500 hours. I would put her name on here but she graduated a week after she did my nails so theres no point. But she did a great job on my fill in and I felt comfortable with her (which is rare because usually I feel like I can't fully relax getting my nails done for some reason). Its important to note that this is a school so you HAVE to have patience!! If you are the type that would die having to sit two hours to get your nails done, this isnt the place for you. Also, the ventilation is horrible and all nails are done downstairs in a dungeon lmaoo. I saw a girl get a pedicure done & they used a big bowl to soak her feet & had her sitting in one of those fold out chairs. I almost got a pedicure and was like nope because I want to be comfortable and able to relax!! PS I edited his face because I don't want him to get in trouble after signing paperwork, nor will I expose his identity for legal purposes. This is insanely unacceptable, if the person cutting your hair tells you they're nervous about cutting your hair don't let them Listen to them and trust your intuition because this is insane Students are teaching other students and teachers are messing up people's hair and nobody can complain about it because they all signed papers prior One thing to note is that the staff was very friendly and nice but some of them should not be holding shears...

After that, when I called to try and book another apt, NO ONE ever answered the phone. Not a good way to run a biz. Finally got the facial. The student was v. nice and pretty good. But the hour facial ended up being only about 50 min. I had an apt, but when I got there, was told the student was on break. What the heck?? then took another 15 min or more to get it all set up. If this is how they are teaching their students to work in the real world, they are not going to make it. The place was v. clean and had a friendly atmosphere. But they seem to be dropping the ball on customer service. If no customers, how are the students going to practice, and learn, and be able to work in the real world?

I had done a bit of research online ahead of time, but wanted to talk through it with someone and get a better sense of feel and how it works/looks in person. Ended up walking out with a used Sony Rx10 iii in excellent condition and associated accessories (bag, extra battery, SD card, card reader, lens protector) and technicalllly under the budget I had stated... :) So far so good! A couple days after this purchase, I ended up going back to upgrade the bag to a slightly larger one that could hold some additional items. Now technicallllly slightly over budget lol but I'm happy about my items so far and the customer service/help!
