So I turned to Yelp to find the closest and best hair place. Which lead me to Tamar Dupre Salon. Made my appointment online which made everything easy peasy. As it got closer to my appointment day I received an email to confirm. The day of the appointment they call me as the streets out front are closed for a street festival. Truly appreciated the heads up as I am not from the area I managed to park on a side street and walk over to the salon. Although I was a couple minutes late I was still well received openly. That's a nice feeling as it is hard enough when you are stressed to arrive late at an unfamiliar place. I asked for the ladies room and it was clean as the rest of the salon which was spotless. If I was here again I could use their private parking lot which is a definite plus. Samatha was the stylist who washed and blow dried my hair for the wedding I was going to. She styled it exactly the way I wanted and miraculously it stayed in place all night despite the humidity. At the end of my appointment I even bought the product she used in my hair as it is to assist your hair with humidity. I am sure it will be great same as this salon. They are very much deserving of the five star rating that they currently hold. Would definitely comeback on my next visit to Safety Harbor!

The lift & the tone of my blond is an icy perfection previous stylists could never achieve with Redken's line (plus no harsh chemicals). The tone looks exactly the same as when I left the salon after 2 weeks of washes, and the foils were placed so beautifully. She technically did a color correction on a bad bleach job for me and I almost happy-cried when I put my glasses on and saw what she did. My mom and sister see her, too, and she has helped my mom keep her hair looking full and beautiful in the face of hormonal hair loss with good products and some wizard-level shaping/layering. And Marie can pull my STUBBORN roots, QUICKLY...every other hair stylist has had to apply bleach and put me under a heat dryer for 45 minutes or more to get my roots to pull.
