I am used to level 40, but the massaging is what must have taken it over the top. My hair was banana yellow, but still had some color on the outer layers. she then added some ice, beige, and neutral or natural and applied that as a toner, asking if I was ok with platinum. MY hair was scorched, I looked like a clown, literally, and the hair was so dry I couldn't do anything with it. She rushed me out the door as she had another client waiting. I had been to her a few times over several months for a cut, she had also cut my sons hair. I really tried to like her, she can cut hair pretty well, if she believes you are up to her level. At some point, her energy towards me switched from being accommodating to leaving me on red when I text for an appt. I would have to say even though She is decent with the scissor, beware of not measuring up to her standards of being her client. She ruined my hair with the bleach and toner. I found bits of hair that had broken off on my pillow sheets. I had three or so visits with her and two visits for my son. I tipped well. Pretty sure the issues were not of my doing. my hair is a mess. I will never go back. I do NOT recommend. Beware.

She was very apologetic, and assured me that was not the norm for her salon, and she would speak with staff. She agreed it was unacceptable. She didn't hurt me while taking the old gel off, she was easily able to recreate my reference photo on my nails, and she gives a pretty good hand massage. Kim didn't talk much but that's okay with me (I don't talk a lot either), only reason I mention it is in case you're a lady who like to chat, maybe request a different tech. The salon itself was super cute and they were even hosting a pumpkin contest amongst their staff and letting the customers vote for a winner. Anyway, 10/10 experience, I shall return.

I went to M Salon because of the good reviews and was a little nervous. I have social anxiety so meeting new people and talking to the same person for over an hour can be a little scary. I had one stylist but after she cut and colored my hair she left M Salon. I asked for a different stylist and ended up with Will. He's cut and colored my hair 3 times now and I refer to him as my stylist as I would never go anywhere else. He makes sure I'm comfortable and gets me excited about my hair. I went from boring brown to vibrant red and have gotten so many compliments. I'm kind of shy and awkward but after he's done, I get a confidence boost. I always recommend him AND M Salon.
