Excellent from start to finish! Beautiful color, fantastic cut! I really appreciate all of the stylists here!

We were new to the area our first time visiting Salon U. We were a walk in, my grown son had got a hair cut the day before and it was completely botched, lol it was bad. We went to Salon U with a prayer, we got seen right away and the ladies were AMAZING. My son was able to fly back home to Dallas with his dignity lol. Then my 20 yr old daughter made an appointment with Logan, my daughters hair was done so well, she got highlights and a cut, then she went back a few months later, Logan again made her hair beautiful with the color, so by now I'm like I gotta get in to this salon, I booked with Logan, I got a cut and highlights. The vibes in the salon are so relaxed and friendly. It's clean and comfortable. At this point Logan is like family, she gave me the best advice about going lighter with my color, I would've rushed it but she informed me the best way was to wait a few months so my hair stays healthy. Went to this salon for first time in June 2023 got a cut and style from Grace. I'll be back for sure!

First, I loved Salon U. I Thought I found the perfect salon. My stylist is a true color artist. The last time I was there I was in love with my new deep purple look. As my stylist was blowing it out it was stunning. She did make a comment that we need to do something different with my roots NEXT TIME. She didn't make a big deal so I didn't realize there was an issue. I left the salon all smiles feeling great and then I get home and pull my hair back. I nearly feel on the floor. Every gray what was their when I went in was still there. WTF. Now, I understand things go wrong or maybe my stubborn grays didn't hold the dye. This wasnt my issue. If she saw my roots then why didn't she make a plan to correct. Its not like I wouldn't have been willing to pay. I understand things happen but to expect me to go out into the world and let me look like I didn't even just have my hair done. That's just poor service. I had to wear a headband for a week until I found someone to touch things up. I have canceled all future appointments. There is no reason to go back if they don't care about how their customers look. read more

After 3 outstanding visits to the salon my 4th visit was awful. After agreeing to "warm" my very blond hair for fall and cutting 3" inches in length, I walked out with brown hair and 5" in length gone. I couldn't stand to look at myself in the mirror and made an appointment at another salon to go back to blond. Nothing can be done about the length, hopefully my Viviscal works quickly. The cut is also not great and is triangular - making my hair poof out around my shoulders. The stylist who fixed my color recommended that we correct the cut which would have resulted in even shorter hair. read more

I definitely DO NOT recommend this salon. Absolutely HORRIBLE cut (and tried to have it corrected by another salon who said my hair was butchered). Lots of talk to try to sell products. read more

Best salon I have ever been to. The staff is so so nice and accommodating. I went in to get my hair colored and Sandie went above and beyond my expectations. My stylist was friendly and she did an OK job, but nothing outstanding and this salon is WAY OVERPRICED!!!

I had the worst service at this place, the owner is extremely rude! So My daughter started working at a salon u in September and I saw they did extensions something I wanted for years due to me having very thin hair from medical issues.so I made a consultation with the owner. When I had the consultation she didn't seem to be really paying attention she was rushed and was running behind and was doing other things but I figured ok she is the owner she is just busy but she knows what he is doing. So than she was too busy for me to even pick out the colors of extensions she said she would just order them I could just stop by and pay when they came in. So than I came in and she started harassing my daughter for me to come in to pay. So I get there.. the extensions were the exact same color I already am. So I was upset told the other receptionist, Erin she said she would tell the owner but had to do it carefully because she gets upset. So the next day I go in for my full highlights and the owner was annoyed that I wanted to change the color and kept saying things to me about it. And when I was trying to explain to her and show her what I wanted kept cutting me off and would not listen and was covering pictures I was trying to show her on my phone. So than they order half of the extensions in s different color to match my new highlights so than a few days later the owner text my daughter and tells her they don't have the blonde ones. well this upset me because I am a FULL paying client not her employee she should be calling me so I call and tell her this she immediately starts yelling and being very rude. I asked her if she speaks to all of her clients that way, because I felt like she was treating me different because my daughter was an employee. Next thing I know she is no longer doing my extensions and sets me up with someone else in her salon , Lauren so now I have different stylist and different color extensions. So now my hair doesn't look natural to me in my opinion I have tried multiple times to get the owner to fix it she told me she believes in her opinion that no matter what she does I won't be happy I don't feel I am being unreasonable to have natural looking hair for what it cost and she feels my hair is a good representations of her salon. I tried multiple times to explain to her what it is I want but as soon as I try to speak to this owner but she cuts me off and starts yelling so there is never a resolution because the owner is too hot headed to listen . I just wanted natural looking waist length really blonde hair that I could still occasionally Put in a ponytail all of which she said was obtainable during my consultation none of which I have now. I have never been yelled at by a professional the way I was by Sandie and treated that way. Look at my hair and tell me if you would want hair like this. I would Give no stars if I could read more

I went here for a haircut and liked the service, so I rebooked for another haircut 8 weeks later. I decided later to also make an appointment for formal styling for a wedding. I was unable to book that appointment with the same stylist who did my haircut, but the salon seemed reputable so I was okay with it. On the day of my styling appointment, I received a call to come in earlier in the day, which I was unable to do. I arrived for my appointment and it took only 22 minutes total until I was back in my car. This included time for the stylist to leave me to get products, pins and stop to pet a dog that someone brought into the salon. About 10 minutes after I got home, the style began falling out. I should also note that the style was not at all in line with the pictures I showed the stylist, but was fine. Just doesn't give me much faith if you were more particular about what your style looked like that they would be able to execute it. I ended up having to go elsewhere to have the style fixed because Salon U had closed by that time. I'm certain that being the last appointment of the day and clearly the stylist had wanted me to come early resulted in her being rushed and inattentive. I called the owner the next time they were open (2 days later) and she offered a full refund, plus a free service. Great! She called me back later that day saying she needed "one more thing" to process my refund. I returned her call promptly and left a message with the receptionist. I never received a return call from the owner to find out what that "one more thing" was, so I'm still out $60 for the styling + tip, plus the amount I paid when I went elsewhere to have them fix the poor service I received at Salon U. read more
