I just started going to Pageboy last year and have the pleasure of getting my hair done by Ashley. When I first met her we went through a few pictures of different hair colors, I picked my favorite and Ashley was able to match the color pretty much identically to the picture. I get my hair dyed black with bright dark blue highlights. Ashley does a great job with the color and it lasts a good while before it starts to fade. She also does a great job with the cut. She spent so much time talking with me, looking at color swatches and cutting wet, then drying and thinning out my hair- checking for my feedback on my cut the whole time. I had to go back to Kari to have it fixed after I washed and styled it myself, which she was able to accommodate immediately once I called. I am extremely picky about my hair and it seems Ashley has been the only one to get it right-on in all my years. To the point where a few weeks ago, I went in and had the sudden urge to chop my almost-waist-length hair completely off. My girlfriends have been coming to the studio for longer than I have and warned me Ashley would convince me to do something wild, so she quickly obliged and started the big chop!!! I thought I would hate it and regret it and miss my long hair. I don't. at all. It is absolutely perfect - she did an amazing job. Ashley is a seriously talented stylist....not to mention she is so sweet and pleasant to talk to while youre in her chair. The salon has been redone recently and it is super clean, cute and chic. The women working are friendlyand it seems they are pretty busy year-round. Definitely call a couple weeks in advance for an appointment. Absolutely fantastic service, I had a consultation 1st to determine exactly what I wanted :) then a full color and highlights, cut and eyebrow wax (the works). My stylist was wonderful, superb cut. My hair looks wonderful (I have a very short angled cut with side swept bangs). I couldn't be happier. The salon is very clean and full service - hair, color, nails, waxing, massage - everything you could need. Prices are very affordable too. Will definitely return :) Just remember you can't tip on your card, and they don't have an ATM, but so long as you know you are good :)

I have naturally curly hair & she refused to put product in my hair to style it curly with a hair dryer, even though I insisted if she didn't my hair would be horribly frizzy. Well, she didn't listen & I looked ridiculously frizzy & like a mushroom head. My 14 year old daughter wanted to get a perm. They cut a HUGE chunk out of her head to test the strand. Never called her back with results. My 13 year old daughter had an appt for highlights about 6-7 months ago & they cut a strand off of her head to test first when we arrive for appt. After a few minutes, we were informed her hair would not actually go blonde cuz of the chlorine in her hair from swimming. They said it would break and be horribly damaged. So I took my daughter to our usual master colorist hair stylist who gave her the most gorgeous highlights. Her hair did easily go blonde and there was zero damage. Such a waste of our time at PP. But clearly I didn't learn my lesson as I gave them one more chance at my moms insistence. My other daughter has a formal coming up & wanted to go blonde for it. Once again my mom insisted we try PP again since she had no chlorine in her hair. It took weeks for us to get an appt. We arrive for appt today & again they cut another stand of her hair for a test. Since she hadn't swam in over 7 months, we didn't foresee there being an issue. After the strand test, manager comes out to tell us they can't do my daughters hair today as it's too damaged. The strand test showed her hair won't go blonde & there would be too much breakage and damage. My daughter was devastated. Even though our usual master colorist hair stylist was off today, I reached out to her to see if she can fit my daughter in this week and make her blonde. Within 5 mins of being turned away by PP, my usual lady told me it would be no problem to get my daughters hair blonde (and she knows as she does her hair & understands her hair) & she'd squeeze her in this week. Another waste of time at PP that has resulted in nothing but disappointment for my daughters. Trust me, no more chances. I've learned my lesson.
