First let me tell you how they treated us with EXCEPTIONAL FULL SERVICE. I was in a terrible time crunch and did not have time to do my nails so they brought me a nail file, acetone, and I did my own nails while they were doing my hair. They also brought us a big standing makeup light and let us stay in the styling chairs after they were done so that we could do our makeup. And to top it off, a glass of champagne or a beverage of your choice to only make things better! Finally and most importantly, Benoit and Daniele did a beautiful job on our hair! They were both so diligent and skilled. We have long thick ethnic hair and even though it probably took them much more time than the average set of hair to style, they charged us such a reasonable amount. I loved my experience. Service is great - you can book an appointment on Google which tells you right away how much your service will cost. You're seated promptly if you have an appointment. They were super nice and got to working on my nails right away. They also have a huge selection of shellac nail colours and brands. The person who did my nails was fantastic and super meticulous. I also enjoyed how if you aren't much of a talker, there was no pressure to make small talk. But if you are a talker, they would have nice conversations with you. My nails feel and look great! I came to this salon for a perm and left with FRIED, brittle, damaged hair. The stylist who did it…read morenot only failed to properly assess whether my hair was healthy enough for a perm, but she also NEVER explained the risks. There was no real consultation, no mention of potential damage--just rushed service and false confidence. When I contacted the salon afterward to express my concerns and ask for a refund, I was met with gaslighting and denial. The stylist outright lied and claimed she had warned me (she didn't), and refused to take ANY accountability for the state of my hair. Then they told me they don't issue refunds on Visa Debit (even tho I literally paid by Visa Debit the day of my appointment. Talk about nonsense...) made me leave the salon empty-handed, and I had to chase them down everyday by phone just to be told later that they could "just give me cash." Seriously? Now here's where it gets unbelievable: I left a review to warn others, and the salon called me, demanding I remove it in order to receive my refund. She literally said she'd "transfer the money" only if I took the review down. When I pushed back and said "so you're offering me hush money for my own refund?"--she backtracked, but it was obvious what she was doing. She even threatened to call the cops because I posted my honest experience online. She added "we already accepted to go against policy and refund you, and you're leaving a bad review???" Let that sink in. I ended up deleting the review just to get my refund, but now that it's resolved--I'm putting this back up. People deserve to know what really goes on behind the scenes here. Save yourself the stress. There are plenty of salons out there that respect their clients, take accountability, and don't try to bully people into silence. This one is not it. P.S. To the manager who threatened to call the cops on me for leaving a review: threatening a customer for sharing their honest experience is not only unprofessional--it's desperate. Next time, try taking accountability instead of trying to intimidate people into silence. I wasn't scared. I was disgusted. Do better
