This is my new salon. Made a same day appointment for me and my daughter for cut/ blow dry. My daughters hair is a lions mane and it was tamed! My cut was also great. I always ask for a wash and go style and somehow every salon manages to overcomplicate and cut my hair in a way that looks ridiculous without some styling. Got the simple pretty cut I asked for, left my hair looking healthy. Prices are very reasonable , especially considering my daughters hair was down to her butt and was straightened. All of the women who work here are also very sweet and easy to be around, a nice change from my last pretentious salon. read more

I absolutely LOVE this salon. Such a beautiful space, newly redone after moving locations to a brand new shopping center across the street. Ample parking, new name (Salon Tique), same owners and stylists. Honestly, there is not one bad stylist in the bunch. From cut to color to blowout they are all skilled and professional. Omg this is the best experience I have ever had using groupon. No hidden charges, no games just gave groupon got EXACTLY what I wanted and left so so happy. Salon Atlantique is fantastic salon and the beauticians are as pleasant as they are talented. Unlike many salons, you never get the sense of being an outsider even the first time you walk through the door. Everyone is very friendly and open and the atmosphere is a warm one. I have known and gone to Deana for years and have referred many people her way. My only complaint could be how busy she is lol! read more

it was my first time ever getting my hair done in a salon, i usually get my hair done at my home. so i was nervous about the whole thing going to a new girl to get my hair done.\ it was very easy finding i didn't have a problem. when i first went into salon tique, it was beautiful , everything was new and updated and it was very clean. The staff was so nice when i came in very warm and friendly, after experiencing that I felt more comfortable and less nervous about going to a new girl to get my hair done. I got my hair done by Dominique (Dom), she was great very nice ,super friendly and knows what shes doing ! i showed her a picture of what i was going towards and she did exactly what i wanted. i was so happy ! Based on the three great reviews, dropped by 5/26/12 to make an appointment or, better yet, see if she could fit me in on the holiday Saturday for a wash & cut. Thought she was an unfortunate sign of our Obamaconomy as the storefront at the advertised 11 Atlantic address was empty. Have been notified 6/27/12 in a very nice note from the owner that she's moved diagonally across the street onto Main Street as Salontique & look forward to getting my next cut there. read more

I came here with a Groupon for a single process, cut and gloss treatment. They took the Groupon but I don't think they understood how Groupons worked, because I was charged an extra $30 for treatments I didn't agree to. They said it cost extra for color correction - had I known they were going to scam me, I would have gone elsewhere! I will admit the color and cut were great but my original hairdresser charges $10 less and she's been cutting my hair for years. I will continue to go to her since this place left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I discovered Deana through a friend almost 2 years ago. It never occured to me to write a review, but i just want to share with the world that she is great. She has the hands of an expert stylist. I mean, there is no kidding around she gets the job done, and she gets it done right. She makes very good suggestions but always listens to the customers. Besides that everyone there is very friendly. I last went about a month ago and saw that now they have the mani-pedi stations set up. Best of Luck to Deana!! I have been getting my hair cut by Deanna for almost 20 years now. She is the only person I trust with my hair and even after moving from NY to Florida, I would still fly home just to have Deana cut my hair. She is very experienced and patient and has a great personality. It's like having a haircut by a friend every time you go see her. She really listens to her clients and can handle my hard to manage curly hair. She has done my hair straight, curly, up do's, etc for every major event in my life and I highly recommend her. I highly recommend this salon to anyone. Recently changed salons and decided to give Salon Tique a visit and receiving a suggestion. I was greeting by the owner who was lovely and very pleasant. Destiny was the stylist that colored, highlighted, cut and of course a blow out. She suggested a shampoo to hold the color that I was able to purchase if needed. The place is nice and I like that it's local to me. But I received rude service from a hair dresser - I think her name was Destinee. I scheduled an early morning appointment and she showed up a 1/2 hour late and seemed annoyed that I was there. The other hair cut I got was nice, but the girl decided to curl my hair - I did not request this but she was having fun and I thought what the heck! When I went to pay, the owner (I think) told the girl to add $10 for the curling. I was like, WHAT? I didn't request it! But she didn't care. Two bad experiences, I wouldn't go back. read more

i had my girl scouts party here and i have to say it was perfect! The owner is super nice and did a fantastic job. besides making the "tea party" table look so beautiful, everything ran so smoothly and the girls had a great time. the staff was professional (unlike most party places that hire 15 yr. olds). i highly recommend for a spa party. i would give it 5 stars if it wasn't on the pricey side. read more

Deana...................the best colorist on the planet and stylist as well. I wouldnt let anyone near my hair with sicissor except Deana. Its very hard to feel completely comfortable recommending someone (especaially with regards to someones hair) but not if you know Deana. I recommend her to everyone I know or even casually meet. Deana has been cutting and coloring my hair even before she opened the salon. She is always on point and I havent met anyone that has gone to her and is not 100% thrilled when they walk out. They always go back even traveling from Queens. On top of the fabulous cut and die job you are also surrounded by a great staff. Hair, nails and a great scrub from Phyllis(Shampoo Girl) you walk out of there a new person. Salon Atlantique is the overall great shop. Robin and Annie on nails are fantastic! and everyone in there is so talented with blow outs and styles. If you havent frequented Salon Atlantique you really dont know what you're missing. read more
