Writing this as I'm still sitting in the lobby, waiting to be seen. Will say more on nail quality when they are done. Had to give 3 stars because the lady was quick and a did a good job. Pic of my inspo and my actual nails. Price was very reasonable too. $60 for 3 colors with design acrylics

I live in Washington and a basic pedicure is $40 at the most but Buckeye's charged $50. (This is what I get for not inquiring about the price before we went in). The technician, who was African American, that did my sister's pedicure, apparently felt it was okay to make distasteful jokes because we are African American as well, however, I found her conversation rude, reckless and disrespectful as she made jokes about my sister's feet, criticized my sister's choice of nail polish selection, complained about the fact that more customers were arriving as she was ready to go home and played raunchy music on her cell phone without earbuds. I really wanted to tell her that she ran her mouth too much didn't want to cause a scene. Before we left she informed me that the man who did my pedicure complained about my not providing a tip. I don't tip for overpriced subpar service and she had talked herself out of a tip. I have this tip for them...Get rid of unprofessional unethical employees.

I came with my toes already prepped for a gel pedicure with one acrylic toe. I picked a French tip in pink and green. After a while of back and forth i had opted in to get my hands done I wanted clear tips and acrylic with no polish on my hands. I didn't receive that instead I was given a manicure and that's not what I described. They proceeded to go back and forth amongst each other and I told them I didn't mind paying the total of $105 which was the third price they tried to quote me after I noticed they didn't do the service I requested. I called my spouse to confirm the transaction and to let them know I didn't receive the service I descriptively gave, the receptionist that walked in while Andy was doing my service proceed to yell over my phone call, she noticeably dint want me to tell about the horrible service I was forced to pay for. Without the manicure I was given my total should've been $65 like quoted right when my feet touched the water. Design skills needs major work. Never force or haggle a paying first time customer to pay for a service they didn't request or receive. I now see why they have 2 stars

I had Tommy a long time ago as my tech and he was great, and most recently I had Supa as my tech and she was extremely friendly and did a beautiful, smooth job on my nails - she did exactly what my inspo pic showed and talked with me the whole time, it was nice and relaxing with no awkward moments! I will be back!!

If I could give a zero star review I would. This is by far the WORST manicure experience of my…read morelife. I have had my nails done at least a half salons of varying quality and this was HORRIFIC, especially for the price. Note about the price: My mom got charged $28 for this and I got charged $38 and we had the exact same service?? They also made us pay and tip before they did the polish. To start, I had gorgeous, long natural nails and they are absolutely trashed now. She cut my nails with these crusty old toe nail clippers that barely worked, did two swipes with a nail file that looks 3 years old and cut my skin, and called that "shaping". She left me with a HANG NAIL and multiple other rough, sharp edges. I tried to "trust the process", but then she then proceeded to slap on the polish which is obviously clumpy and applied it so unevenly that it looks like a four year old did it, except I am entirely confident my four old nieces could do a much better job. I asked her to fix two of the especially bad nails and she refused saying there was absolutely nothing wrong with them and that was a waste of time?? (Btw-- we walked in and they were watching a movie from the pedicure chairs, so it's not like they were busy). It was so bad I gave up and used a nail file from my purse as soon as I walked out to try to smooth off the jagged ends. I was about ready to cry because this was such a horrific experience, and I was visiting family I hadn't seen in 2 years and won't see for another 2 years (I'm going over seas). Keep in mind with the photos-- these are AFTER I got rid of the hang nails and rough edges. I could do anything else until I fixed them just enough. My mom had an almost an identical experience with a different tech. Fortunately for her, her nails are so short that there was hardly anything for them to mess up beyond a spectacularly shitty paint job. I would not recommend this salon to ANYONE EVER. NOT EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE. Again-- children can do a better job and you are in for a janky and unprofessional experience. My normal nail tech is going to be HORRIFIED when I see her in a few days. I couldn't get in to see her before I left which is how we ended up in this situation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY especially on techs that were so obviously rude and uncaring (and were clearly NOT trying their best).
