This morning, my wife and sister-in-law (who is 6 months pregnant) were going to get their nails done before my sisters wedding. When they arrived at this place they were treated rudely by a man who worked here. He refused to give my wife a pedicure because she had gel polish on her toes. Then my wife offered to remove the gel for him (it's just a little polish remover WTH) and he begrudgingly said "Fine. Pick your color. 20 minute wait at least" (in a negative tone). The store was not busy with tons of empty spots. My wife said "it was like I was being told he didn't want our business". This encounter was so abrasive my wife and my pregnant sister and law felt like they weren't wanted there and left. They are both too kind to say anything to the man or leave a negative review. After reading a few other reviews on this place it seems that being kind to customers is not a given at Lexington Nails. A word to the owners/employees: CHOOSE to do better! Kindness toward your customers is a MINIUM standard. Have some respect for what you do, who you serve, and yourselves. But more importantly, you never know how one kind moment (or conversely a rude moment) can echo into peoples lives. Not that you care, but those ladies who came to your store today had a lot on their plate. After being a customer of Lexington Nails for 7-8 years and ignoring their rudeness I'v had enough! The wife yells constantly and now the husband has started. They literally yelled at me across the room to take my drink out. I had a contained cup with a lid and straw full of ice tea. They don't offer their customers anything to drink and won't allow any drinks there. Any nail shop that doesn't realize a snail salon is a place to relax and enjoy being pampered shouldn't be in the business!!! I don't recommend!!! read more

I've walked into this place two times. The first they were busy and it was over a 2 hr wait, totally get that, it was a Friday after all. What I didn't appreciate was the gentlemen yelling at me about bringing in a drink...rude, so I walked out. Figured I'd give them another chance. Went in today, signed right in for a pedi. When I went to select the gel polish, you'd think it was the end of the world. The guy and girl both were rude telling me they didn't do that. When I asked if they removed gel polish, also rudely told me no. So I walked out again. Won't be going back. WHAT NAIL salon does NOT do gel pedicures????? I've been going to this nail establishment for a few months now and I usually go either monthly or bi-monthly. The owners are a hardworking couple that that accept customers usually until 6pm in the evening, which is a plus for me since I work Mon-Fri so I can head over after work if I want. As of now, they do require everyone to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status (which I don't mind) and that you walk in and wash your hands before touching anything. A standard manicure is $20 and a pedicure is $35 so reasonably priced! They are vigilant and thorough while working as fast as they can. I like going here and supporting a local business in my community. I always have a positive experience and I would recommend checking them out! Note, they are closed on Sundays. read more

The guy did a good quick job, however was a little rough with filing and even after waiting the full ten minutes to dry I have two chips only an hour after they were finished. Gel nail polish is an extra $20/25 which is insane... I just moved back from Austin Texas and have even gone a couple places here and never have I ever seen a salon charge more than $10 extra usually $7 even at higher end salons so I was shocked when I was told this & opted for normal polish (not my usual) but whatever. Definitely need to fix that to match other salons because there is no way people pay that for Gelish polish... I don't think I'll be returning to this salon for my fill honestly. 3 stars is generous in this situation and only because my shape is done nicely. read more

This nail salon is run by a husband and wife team. They both do a great job at what they do! I've been going there now regularly for about two years. They do have strict rules for the protection of the customer as well as salon sanitation. Washing your hands before touching anything is required and they have installed plexiglass at each station to assist with infection control. Their rules about what services they do and do not provide are clearly stated within the salon, which does state that they do not apply or remove gel polish on the toes. Anyone who has their nails regularly done with gel polish knows this takes an extra effort and is more time consuming than regular polish to remove. They're two people and limiting services is understandably necessary in order to adequately service consumers! It's incredibly unfair to any business to provide a review without the whole story. Businesses post messages within their places of business for the consumer to read, not to ignore and then post a review complaining about a service they don't provide. Although the owners may come across as abrasive, I do not at all believe it's intentional but rather, their attempts at communicating clearly with English not being their native language. If you're looking for a salon who runs a tight ship, is conscientious about sanitizing, and does a great job on your nails, this is the place. read more

So I did, within 10mins, and there were 8+ people ahead of me. I believe he should've mentioned that little detail. They were friendly and nice, and it seems sanitary enough (although I wondered why they didn't put a bag in the pedicure basin), but I think a mani/pedi at $50 is a little on the expensive side. That's with one coat of clear on my fingernails because Mrs.LN talked me out of using color. I intended to have hands and feet match, but she insisted that was too much color, too busy, and what if I chipped? Fact is, she was in a hurry to get my simple mani/pedi finished and get to the next 8 customers behind me. I will not be back and I encourage anyone reading to find another salon unless/until this one hires some staff. Dishonest pricing. I called to ask about the pricing for a gel manicure, I was told $25. When they were finished I was told $25 was for the gel color only and it was an additional $15 for the manicure so $40 total. They were rude, it was there mistake for not telling me the correct price in advance when I called and asked. I will not return. read more

Very Rude Service! I showed him a picture of the design I wanted and he said he could do it. When he attempted the design it was not what I wanted at all and I asked him to remove it because I didn't like how it looked. He looked at me and said "No." Stunned, I said I'm a paying customer please remove it; so he angrily tried to paint over it so he wouldn't have to remove the polish. I told him that looked horrible please remove the polish he told me "Next time you make sure you like the picture you bring in before we put it on." I told him there will not be a next time because I will not be back. He said "If you don't like how we do nails you don't have to come back". I made sure to tell him I will tell everyone about the poor service I received and I would not recomend anyone should go there. My coworkers have also recently complained about receiving poor customer service and lower quality nails from Lexington Nails. None of the women from my office will be going back to them for service. read more
