I started coming to salon pure after box dying my hair black for many years. This made my hair very damaged. I visited other salons first and other hair stylists shamed me for box dying and told me the only way to get the black color out was to bleach my hair which at that point would have damaged my hair much worse. I was told bleach was the only option and it would make my hair very dry and rough. I was in search for other options so I found salon pure online. I visited there for the first time and was actually told bleach wasn't the only option. Lauren spent 5 hours doing a few rounds of color remover on my hair because bleach wasn't an option for my hair. She transformed my hair in a few sessions and also discussed home care that would help me (different hair ties, less heat, products, etc.) Lauren was extremely kind and helped me tremendously. It's taken me years to find a salon and stylist that I really like in the area. A friend recommended Salon Pure about a year and I made an appointment with Stacie for highlights/lowlights and a cut. From that moment on I knew I had found my place! The receptionists are always friendly and accommodating. The salon is fresh and bright. It has an open, modern feel and is immaculately clean. Their protocol during COVID is strictly enforced, which we are all grateful for. The pricing is fair and generally a very good value. Stacie is a dream come true. She is an exceptional stylist and colorist. She listens carefully and really cares- (even texting after to see if I'm happy). I always ook forward to seeing her and having my hair done now! I'm a New Yorker and used to top notch salons. All in all, this is hands down the best salon I've been to in the 17 years I've been living in the area. Janelle has been doing my hair for more years than I can count! She is one of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. We have shared so many stories, laughs, tears and hairstyles over the years. She was even there to shave my head in honor and support of my, then, two and a half year old daughter who was facing a stage three cancer. Best salon I've ever been to, mainly because my stylist is the best I've ever known. I've followed her wherever she's worked, and we're both here at Salon Pure to stay! All the staff are attentive and helpful and very friendly! The products used are only very good quality, and there is a wide array to choose from. I've been seeing Lauren the salon owner for about two years now and she has been wonderful. She is always professional, personable and knows how to execute what I ask for. If you have or want blonde hair (I do) she is amazing! I get a partial with hi and low lights and she keeps the individual highlights really fine and natural looking. I've never once walked out with that dreaded brassy yellow blonde hair, I'm naturally a 7A. As someone who is extremely picky about how my hi lights are I would absolutely recommend her. read more

What an excellent and professional group of women! I went in for a color and a bang trim with Jesslyn. We discussed my current color, and the fact that I hadn't colored in over a year (ROOTS!). She foiled in the color and did a glazing to the rest. Well, let me tell you I was SHOCKED at the dimension and depth of color, and all done in less than 2 hours! I've been a Salon Pure client since 2013 and have always had a positive experience. The salon is bright and clean. The stylists are easy to talk to and always look professional. The front desk staff is welcoming, you frequently see them cleaning spaces and checking in with clients. The product shelves always look organized.
