I went here again after my initial visit two years ago. I was not satisfied the first time I went because the young lady that did my hair was unsure how to do what I asked. Today I saw Madison and this stylist is very professional and helped me decide what I wanted. She did a great foil and a great cut. She listed to all of my concerns and helped me make a decision on what to do. I like the salon, they have many different choices for hair products and I like Madison because she listened and did exactly what I asked for. Just had my hair done by stylist Anna. It turned out great and exactly how I wanted. I had a cut, roots colored, highlights around the face and blow dry. It took almost 2 hours which is the amount it should take (I have long and thick hair). I've been to other local salons and the last place I went to took 3 1/2 hours! This place is right off Shore Drive and easy to find. I love the building and the vintage mixed with modern interior design. It's very spacious but intimate and the employees were very friendly. Took 30 seconds of awkward glances to even get a greeting, which the girl in the back had to do cause Miss Thing was too busy sitting down and talking. One she goes to every time she needs a cut; where her stylist knows her name and they can talk about all the girly details. If you're still looking, definitely give Salon Oh a try. I had no wait time (I also had an appointment), but I was invited into the stylist's chair as soon as I walked in. A beverage was offered as soon as I sat down. Anna paid close attention to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. She was very friendly and professional. My shampoo, blow dry, haircut, and eyebrow wax took all of an hour, and it was only $40 for the haircut and $10 to get my eyebrows done! My hair looks and feels awesome; Anna showed me what products she used AND how to do it myself at home. I'm looking forward to coming back for my next trim! read more

I have so many good things to say where do I start! The salon is super beautiful and stylish, with parking out front. I drove down from DC to have Mary do my NBR (natural beaded rows extensions- check them out on Instagram!!) install and color. we had chatted a little over text about my color and inspiration for my extensions, and I was excited because she understood my vision. Mary is so talented, extremely professional, and SLAYED my hair. She lightened my hair to a super pretty platinum, and then began the extension install (22 inches, mermaid hair!!) which was super easy, painless, and so exciting to see the beautiful wefts being sewn into my head! The assistants helping glaze and shampoo my hair were super sweet and funny and did a great job. I have never had more compliments on my hair in my entire life than after I saw Mary. Ok so this place and haired read Olivia was recommend to me by a friend. It's always hard to find someone we to cut your hair when ur so use to one person. But I took a chance. Let me tell you it was worth it. Olivia is amazing!!!!! She knows what she is doing and if you ask her advise she will tell you. It's a great spot. Staff are nice, atmosphere is welcoming. Nothing bothers me more than a stylist not doing what you asked for, and that's exactly what happened here. I said I wanted to go dark all over to cover my ombre. My roots were done with a level 3 and a glaze (aka toner) was sprayed over the rest...which fades quickly. When I spoke to the manager she said she would have done the same thing.... On that note I would have just went SOMEWHERE ELSE that would have done what I wanted!! I was also charged 25 bucks for a blow dry which I didn't know about. There is no way in hell I'd pay that much for a so so blow dry!! I left the salon with dye all over my forehead and around my ears (which was devastating since I had a date that night... It didn't come off for days!) The manger didn't give a crap when I complained which was a HUGE disappointment and horrible customer service!! 85 bucks down the drain. Don't waste your time or your money, go somewhere else! read more

I have been getting my hair done here for a couple years now and LOVE it! I have done everything from ombré, highlights, and all over color and it comes out looking amazing. I also have done the Brazilian blowout which makes my hair sleek and smooth. Kelly Ashton really listens to what I want done and makes it happen. I lived in Atlanta and would return there to visit my sister and have my hair done at the same time because I could not find anyone here that I liked. After living in the VA area for months, I have been very hesitant about looking for a place to cut my hair. After much research, I decided on Salon Oh! because of the great reviews. I was able to book an appointment with Anna the same day that I called. I did not know what I wanted exactly but I knew I wanted to keep my length. Upon my arrival, I was politely greeted and was offered some coffee. After a few minutes, I was able to sit down with Anna and I showed her some ideas I had and she did the rest, plus an amazing eyebrow wax! She did such a great job on my hair, keeping the length but added some nice layers to it as well. I highly recommend her for natural styles.
