First appointment was $582.06 (two hair products purchased so let's say $500) + $100 tip. Explanation for an appointment that is more than I spent going to the best salons in NYC was the hair color correction + cut but next time would be around $220-230 (assumed color + cut + dry, just without the correction excuse). Second appointment was just a partial highlight, root color and some other color - no cut and they sent me home with wet hair for $281, not including tip. I told the girl at the front desk that between two appointments - taking out products totaled $600 + 281 =$881.00 or $440 an appointment, which is outrageous and I'll never go back. The salon should never allow stylists to gauge their clients. So many could never afford this so I help this review gives future customers a chance to lock in a price before booking an appointment.

I'm 22 and she styled my pixie cut like I was an 85 year old woman. it wouldn't have been that big of a deal, except for the fact that the cut has not grown out well at all. it's probably a fine place for simple cuts for long hair, but if you need something with a little more expertise I would go elsewhere.

I came with a pinterest board full of potential cuts. After touching my hair, reviewing each picture, and exploring what I wanted for a cut, he gave his professional opinion on which cut would be most flattering for my flat, fine, tangly hair. He listened. He cared. He even dug into the root of my problems--I have been using a shampoo not designed for my hair type. I would not have ever known this on my own. Adrian made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He was very friendly, and I appreciated his honesty. THE SHAMPOO: Relaxing. Smelled amazing. The shampoo came with a surprise facial treatment which included a hot towel and a massage! THE HAIRCUT: The haircut matched exactly what we had agreed upon in the consultation--a cute chin length bob, bluntly cut with layers, a side bang, and volume. I absolutely loved the cut. Adrian really knows what he is doing. If I had to describe Adrian in a few words I would have to say that he is very knowledgeable and talented. Ever walk out of a salon loving your look only to find out the next day that it is impossible to recreate? That won't happen at Lemon Lime. Adrian is a fantastic teacher, and he taught me everything from products, to hair care, to blow drys. He even wants me to keep in touch about how maintaining the look is going. I left the salon L-O-V-I-N-G my cut and armed with the knowledge and products to recreate it. THE EXPERIENCE: I wish I had video taped the whole experience. I loved watching the cut. Adrian is quite matter-of-fact about his cutting. His bold quickness, the angles in which he held the scissors, and his concentration all attributed to me thinking it was much like a piece of performance art to watch him at work. I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the cut and the service. Having tasted and seen what Lemon Lime is like, I would highly recommended it.
