What I love is being able to go here and tell the colorist and stylist that I'm a blank slate for them. They draw from their experience, along with their continuous learning of modern trends, to create a masterpiece every time (they are artists, after all). I have never been disappointed and I get multiple compliments a week from strangers, either about my color, style or both. I keep a stack of their business cards in my wallet because I am asked so often where I go. You can't really go wrong with any level of colorist or stylist you see. My husband also goes here, along with my 4yr old daughter (they are great with kids, by the way) and my Mom has recently started going. It's nice because she can still get a great cut & color from the Jr level staff for a reasonable price (she's retired and on a fixed income). Everyone is very friendly. The interior design is sleek, modern and clean. And although the design might give you the impression of it being a "snooty" or "stuck-up" kind of place, that couldn't be further from the truth. Everyone is down-to-earth and accommodating. Oh, and I really dig the music they play. Really, I just can't say enough good things about this salon. I will continue driving a 90-minute round trip every 6 weeks to have this experience.

They were completely booked (always a good sign) except one opening 5 minutes from my call (maybe my stylist missed their lunch time today?). I was 7 minutes away and they told me that would be okay. She gave me a consultation on lowlights, we covered the gray at my roots, applied the lowlights, and finished with a Keratin treatment. She also had a great recommendation for a deep conditioner, which I will use today! She also treated me to aesthetics services, dying my eyebrows, which are turning silver! I came in specifically asking for a cherry red color. The stylist told me that to get the exact…read morecolor I showed her, my hair would need to be bleached. I told her I did not want to bleach my hair, and she said that was fine and that they could still get me close to the cherry red without bleach. Based on that, I trusted what she was telling me and went through with the service. Unfortunately, I got nothing close to what I asked for. My hair actually looks darker than it did before, and there is barely any noticeable red. What frustrated me even more was the stylist acting like there was so much red showing and pointing it out to me. I kept trying to see what she was seeing, but honestly, there was barely a difference. I understand that I wasn't going to get the exact bright cherry red without bleach, but I was specifically told they could get me close, and this is nowhere near close. I was also supposed to get a blowout, and the picture shows what I left with. My hair looked flat and unfinished, not like I had just paid to have it professionally blown out. I'm not someone who expects an impossible result, especially after choosing not to bleach my hair. But if getting anywhere close to the color I wanted wasn't realistic, I wish they would've just been upfront with me instead of telling me they could do it. I spent my money expecting at least a noticeable red and a professional blowout, and I left with darker hair and a result I didn't ask for. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and honestly wish I had never spent my money here. If I could do 0 stars I would
