It will take well into 2023 till the horrible mess will have grown out. The three inch chunks (this is considered long layers) will take several years to grow out. After four months, it's still only slightly lower than my eyes, I wanted long layers, I got a long mullet. It was like a bowl was placed on the top of my head, and it was cut around. The three grey looking highlights I was given didn't constitute my request for lots of golden blonde highlights (yes three). If I can offer one word of advice, it would be go to a professional salon! I was laughed at when I told friends where I went, and was told I got what I deserved.

So happy and grateful I found Salon Freed and met Nikki. I had a colour correction, highlights, balayage and a haircut. She was able to fix my roots while blending it into my old balayage. I am absolutely in awe how she was able to transform my hair from long, brassy, damaged hair to beautiful, blended, healthy hair. Also, she is very accommodating. Always checking up on me and making sure I was okay. She is a talent not to be missed! This salon exceeded my expectations. The stylists here are not only talented but friendly, kind and incredibly hospitable. They made sure I was fed, comfortable, and they even offered to buy me a bubble tea! Lol Thank you, Nikki and Salon Freed for the Calgary hospitality. I will be back xo
