If you want beautiful nails at a very reasonable price Lisa is the woman to see! She does an amazing job and there are tons of designs to choose from. My nails last at least two weeks! She also gives a great spa pedicure. The salon has a wonderful atmosphere and the hair stylists are amazing as well. At the end of August I called Salon Karizzma to schedule a spray tan. They gave me the number for the woman Patricia who does the spray tans. I called her and left a voicemail. I didn't hear back so I called her on September 2nd. I left another voicemail. She returned my call that day and told me she didn't call me back because the phone cut out in my first voicemail and she couldn't hear my phone number. She was very pleasant. She confirmed I wanted to make an appointment for Sept 10 at 3:30. She said that worked for her. She asked if I spray tanned before. I said yes. She talked about exfoliating etc. She asked how I heard about them. I told her I bought a groupon. She said that was great. She explained the way she redeems them is via the app. So she wanted to make sure I had the app on my phone. I said I did. She said to call with any questions. I just arrived for my spray tan. I was told to go to the basement, first having to step over cut hair on the floor. When I got to the basement Patricia was working on another client. I told her I had an appointment for a spray tan. She asked what time. I said 3:30. She looked at her watch and said it was a little later (it was 3:35). I said I understood and I would wait. She mumbled under her breath and came out to the lobby area to talk to me. She asked if I had an appointment. I said yes, at 3:30. She said she didn't remember having an appointment and asked if we spoke. I said yes we did. I explained when we spoke. She remembered. She asked if I had a groupon. I said yes. She asked if it said Glam and Glow. I said yes. She then told me she couldn't honor it and since she didn't remember my appointment she couldn't spray me. She said glam and glow was the old business and if she sprayed me it would be like her not getting paid for it. I asked why she didn't tell me that when we talked on the phone and she asked if I had a groupon. She said all I could do was call groupon. I showed her that her name is on the groupon. She said she couldn't honor it. I told her I wished she had told me on the phone she couldn't honor it. I apologized for panicking, and explained I had a wedding I was leaving for the next day and thought this appointment was all set. She just looked at me and said, "yeah, let's not do that (panic). And all you can do is contact groupon."-said with an attitude. I've never been treated that way. I'm stunned. read more

I have been trying to set up an appointment for eyelash extensions for a while now- after some persistent hounding on my end (had to call multiple times), I was finally able to schedule an appointment. When the time came, however, the person had me written down for a different date and we had to reschedule- no big deal, I understand mistakes happen and people are busy. The appointment was rescheduled for today- *I* sent a text to confirm, given the history, and drove the almost 1 hour out to the salon. Not only was it closed and no one was there (apparently eyelash extensions are under a different person, slightly separate from the salon), but after I texted and called this person multiple times (and waited half an hour), I received no communication back and finally just left and drove the hour back home. It is now after 8PM and I still have not received any communication apologizing or giving a reason for what happened. I also have a busy schedule and this took hours out of my day. I have never written a poor review for anyone before, but I feel as though this extreme unprofessionalism warrants one.
