I was thinking of getting my brows tattooed but was afraid of a bad job and being stuck with them. Microblading is a semi permanent process using pigments that look very natural and add volume and lift for a natural looking brow. I was missing the front of my brows from over plucking she filled them in and gave them a better shape and lift! My makeup routine is much easier and now my brows are super natural looking! i gave my daughter this gift for Christmas and she loves them also!

This seems to be the only reliable eyebrow threading in Melbourne. I've been here numerous of times…read moreand only had one not so good experience that another employee resolved. However, I wanted to leave a review for the young black female that threaded my eyebrows today because there's another negative review of her service and it almost swayed me to not try her, considering my previous not so good experience. With that said, she did a great job. She listened to what I wanted and even cleaned up a minor fix I asked for. Very patient and took her time. So I wanted to write this review to shine on my positive experience with her. Everyone is entitled to their own experiences. So try her if you feel comfortable

I came in recently for just eyebrows and I left unimpressed. Full transparency, I typically get my…read moreeyebrows waxed and thought I had a decent pain tolerance to it, but the threading was pretty uncomfortable. My eyebrows are still sore and it's been over 24 hours. Maybe I am sensitive ‍ The thing that really bothered me though was the girl didn't ask me before taking away half of my eyebrows. I have naturally thicker eyebrows which I love and I typically just clean up the edges when I get them done to give them a nice shape. This girl gave me the thinnest eyebrows I've ever had, and I just feel like we should've talked about it before she took the hair away. You can always do more but you can't undo what's already been done. The price is also a bit steep. I remember when eyebrows used to be $8-10. I paid $20 including a small tip. Overall, not the worst experience ever but I probably won't come back

Getting your eyebrows microbladed is a huge decision!!! For me it took research and planning…read morebecause it's a semi permanent procedure!!! From the moment I booked, to my after care Cindy (owner) and Sissi (my eyebrow technician/goddess) have been amazing!! I went in to my consultation a bit nervous and within minutes I knew this was the place for me. I decided to get my eyebrows microbladed literally right after my thorough consultation!!! (The consultation includes a standard questionnaire for safety guidelines and to make sure you're a candidate for the procedure.) With each step.... (numbing cream, eyebrow mapping, eyebrow clean up), Sissi was thorough with the explanation and handed me a hand held mirror to observe which I really appreciated!! The actual procedure was painless (for me, as everyone's pain level is different). My end result.... I AM IN LOVE with my new natural perfectly shaped brows!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sol Y Mar you will not be disappointed!!! (Added note, it's day 2 and they're healing beautifully and still look amazing)

Patty or Patricia (if you book online) is amazing! I have a loooot of hair and it is very long. Normally, it takes 5-6 hours for a partial highlight, cut and blowout. Patty had me all done in 2.5 hours and it looks spectacular. She's a rockstar with a beautiful 'New Yawker' accent. She was fun and her energy is contagious. I recently moved to the area and as a woman we pride ourselves on our hair and beauty. Finding a new stylist is overwhelming and a little scary. If Patty takes care of you like she did me, you are in good hands! Thank you, Patty! I will be back.

After 2nd appointment I explained to him, do not give me bangs and then he took the hair in the front and at my surprise....he chopped me with the scissors with the comb and I had a zig zag bang, one piece long, one piece very short and so on. I'm talking about 2 inch bangs. I have sandy brown hair and I showed him a picture of me with my brown hair. He dyed my hair with a # 5 and 4. My hair is almost black. Not one person liked my hair. I am not a black brunette. I have never felt this sick about my hair. What is the hardest, is that a hair stylist will never say they screwed up. So between the haircut and the color, I will have to remain patient. The color is soooooooooo bad. Also, he only takes cash. Not right.
